Like Daesung is often called one of the best vocalists by kpop fans (even though he isn't) so I don't see how that's underrated at all. Underrated is idols like Mika, Hyunmin, Kangjun, Rokhyun, Kidoh, Insoo, Tey etc., most of y'all probs don't even know who they are. tl:dr sick of people throwing around the word 'underrated' so easily edit: lol people are really saying Luna is underrated? she is considered to be the best vocalist in SM by many, and after all the praise she got after mask king I don't think anyone can call her underrated anymore Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same goes for the 4Minute members other than Hyuna. unpopular does not equal underrated, there is a difference, being less popular than other members in a group does not automatically make an idol underrated. Daesung get's a hell of a lot of recognition, other 4minute members get a lot of recognition for their talents. Jiyoon is the closest to underrated but even she is not and is no where near the most underrated idol. I agree that unpopular does not necessarily mean underrated. However, if you think that someone who is unpopular deserves the recognition that you don't think they get, then I think you can call them underrated. For example, in my opinion Sohyun is probably the best rapper and best dancer in 4Minute. Yet she does not get as much attention and recognition as Hyuna, Jiyoon, or even Gayoon. She deserves more popularity. I have always seen that as underrated. As for Daesung, it's the same thing. I think he deserves more recognition than he gets, which is why I consider him underrated.
