As a sociology major, I'm here to straight up some facts: For you to have different races the DNA has to be form in different ways, dogs have races because the DNA from a York Shire it's not form like the DNA from a Toy Poodle. The formulation of the DNA from the Human Species it's the same no matter the color of your skin, what you have in the human species is different ethnicities and not RACES. The word racism isn't right, the word you're looking for is xenophobia. The Human Species group is by itself a race of the bigger group that are animals. Fag originally meant cigarette butt, but meanings for words change in different contexts and time periods. Also: changeing what word we use to describe the act isn't stopping it from happening or helping the situation... Dogs are a bad example. All domesticated dogs are the same genus and species Canis Lupis Familiaris a sub species of Wolves Canis Lupis because Dogs and Wolves can breed together. I'm not saying the act is right, I'm saying the word you're looking for is xenophobia, if you want to take on a issue you should taken on with facts. It's a fact black can't be a race under white people like they said in the old times because there's not such thing as race. It's like people talking about LGBTQA rights when in the end that doesn't exist, what you have are HUMAN RIGHTS and people are deprived of that rights. It makes the matter worse if you can educate people to not form groups or any kind of different when they shouldn't be one, WE ARE ALL THE SAME, WITH THE SAME RIGHTS AND DUTIES! If people were taught that from the begining to not sub-group the human beings when you can't most of this issues would have a better turn. When people in Asia are accused of racism it is usually either (1) a difference between outsiders and insiders referencing their country or (2) the lightness or darkness of someone's skin. Xenophobia is definitely the correct term to use in reference to Korea as most of their strong opinions have to do with outsiders because of their history of invasion. ( I really don't get why people are negging you instead of trying to have a conversation when you make a good point to an extent. ) I also majored in Sociology. Although race is constructed, I do think we have to keep in mind that it has had a huge impact on culture and ways of thinking (especially in the West). I definitely agree, but OH is probably not the best forum for such change of understanding. People here do not seem to care to educate themselves while visiting this site. But yes...
