The whole world will be watching, they'd want to show thei best, not the generic shit. I'd vote for AIlee, Baek Ahyeon if she stays relevent until then, Lee Hi if she regains relevancy, IU maybe. Boa is questionable- she is not nearly as famous as she used to be. i would bet my money that Psy would for sure be there. but wont some of the BB members be in the military by 2018? of course they could perform without them- idol groups have done it before... Its going to be a crap tone of people. its not for another 4 years ... but its going to be soloist and who ever has a big name around 2018. I'd love for my bias group to perform and slay the whole world, ofc, but if anything the organizers will go for popularity, and as things are now my bias group is doing decently, but is certainly not the top of the top in that regard so... no amount of idols can ever match the awesomeness of the 2008 opening ceremonies tbh XDD like the Chinese went all out for that one... Four years can pretty much encompass the rise and fall of an entire generation of idols since their average shelf lives aren't that long to begin with. A lot of the groups popular now may have disbanded in four years time, and even if they're fine with reuniting/inviting past groups for nostalgia's sake, there's still many other older groups that would fall into that category like g.o.d, Shinhwa, and H.O.T. just to list some groups that were huge in the past. TOP and GDYB will all be in their early 30s by then. I don't think GDYB can be separated. I think they'll have anxiety if they are apart for that long. I also can't imagine how Seungri is going to deal being away from GD for so long. And ditto goes for TODAE. All the BB ships sail themselves. Big Bang needs to enlist together.
