Anyway, I always see some threads about members being useless and stuff that they don't need to be part of the group so looking at it at an opposite perspective. Who do you think is the most indispensable member in your bias groups? Someone whose absence will be greatly felt and the group wouldn't be the same anymore. A member CANNOT not be there in a performance. BEAST - Yoseob Beast will never be beast without him. His voice defines Beast music imo. Beast have really distinct vocals but because of how Yoseob pretty much gets at least 1/4 to 1/3 parts of their songs especially if you include his background falsettos or w/e you call it, his absence will be really apparent. As opposed to how Shinee was able to promote without their main vocalist, Jonghyun. I can't really see a Beast promotion without Yoseob. He has the biggest fanbase. He's racking up fanboys this promotion too. He has the best public recognition for his talent and personality. During their debut, I would've said Kikwang but Yoseob skyrocketed soon afterwards by the time they came back with Shock. BTOB - I can't name anyone tbh. She is the best vocalist and one of the better female vocalists in SM with stable dancing and an undeniable stage presence. She oozes charm and she's absolutely adorable, she just needs to work on her performance stability and SM needs to push her variety skills to gain popularity. The heart of SHINee, the infamous diva, his vocie is so unique and he brings so much individuality and personality to the group, I think they'd be mostly different without him. 2NE1 - CL. Let's face it, she's the most charasmatic, the most stable vocally, is an all around good performer not to mention the leader, they'd be lost without her. Girl can do anything thrown at her. She's regularly put with the dancers and she still is one of their better vocalists. There is always someone to fill in their spots/talent due to the Huge number of members. If I really had to pick it would be Taeyeon. Let's face it, JeTiSeoSun's vocals isn't on par or even close to Taeyeon's vocals.
