The report stated that “L†has a Korean girlfriend who is being watched over by a friend close to “L.†Furthermore, it claimed that “L†registered for marriage in March when it was his girlfriend’s birthday. Despite not explicitly stating Luhan’s name, it is obvious that the report is referring to the former EXO member. Luhan’s representatives released an official statement through their official Weibo account. They stated that a netizen spread the rumor through a Chinese messenger app called Weixin. They declared, “This morning a user of Weixin wrote about a young star ‘L’ becoming a father. It lead to many rumors that are groundless and they have spread without being confirmed. These malicious and baseless rumors have affected Luhan quite negatively.†They continued, “Luhan doesn’t have a Korean girlfriend like the rumors say and it is untrue that he has gotten married and had a child.†Along with their official denial they stated that they will be taking legal action. Meanwhile, Luhan is actively promoting as an actor in China after filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and withdrawing from EXO. The issue is that his team is not professional and his fans blew up over them not handling this properly. There is a warning to take legal action out, but of course the translation hasn't circulated enough for any of the international kpop sites to steal for an article yet.
