Any advice for living in Korea?

I just found out today that I might have an opportunity through my company to transfer to Korea to teach English. It's a Pre-school position for now. If I take the job, I'll be starting at the end of August. The school is on the outskirts of Seoul in Gwangmyeong.

tl;dr

I've been working as an English teacher in Taiwan for the past two years and love it. I just feel like I need a change for a bit as I'm not really ready to settle down in my life. I like a few Korean groups and enjoy a few Korean dramas, but I am not really obsessed with Korea or anything and didn't even consider living in Korea until this past week (the heat in Taiwan is killing me). Though I plan to live in Taiwan long-term, I want to travel more first.

I started learning Korean on my own just recently and really do like the language. However, I can really only read it for right now and recognize a few words here and there.

Even though I haven't completely decided if I want to go now, wait a bit longer, or go to a different country altogether, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on moving to and living in Korea. I've never even visited before, so any advice is welcomed.

I think you would find more useful information on google than in here, cos most of the users in here haven't even been to Korea. But if you feel like a change of scenery and would be able to come back to Taiwan afterwards, I'd say go. you can always read up on the country and other teachers' experiences and see whether it's a place you would want to be in. sorry couldn't really help much, but good luck on whatever you decide!
