Chrome 3,157 Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 So this is my Introduction to One Hallyu I didn't come from Hallyu8, but I did lurk there for a good few months, never feeling obliged to make an account though If any of you are on akp as well you probably might know me by "that guy that loves Gna" or "rliu97" if anyone actually remembered my boring as fuck username So hello all! My name is Ray and I've been into Korean music since late 2009, so this year I'm approaching 4 years I'm from Australia I was aware of Kpop when Sorry Sorry came out, but It wasn't until Taeyang's Wedding Dress that I went "damn, I gotta get into this" Annnnyyywaaay, I'll list some things pertaining to Kpop/Korean Music that I'm into Firstly, G.NA and Kyungri are my two ultimate biases the three of us are getting married some day ok Musically, when it comes to idol groups, I listen to a fair share of songs but I never find myself actually liking or feeling as though I'm an actual fan of the group Big Bang is pretty much the only idol group which I actively follow, but I don't shut myself off from everything else I've come to quite like songs from Infinite, SHINee, f(x), Lunafly and Nine Muses in particular over the last few years - SHINee's Misconceptions albums blew me away Recently I loved Nine Muses' latest track (2PM's ADTOY is growing on me strangely..) My dominant music is K-Hip Hop Really interested to see if anyone else shares my passion for it as well c: I love love love hip hop when it takes elements from orchestral music as well as lyrically focused hip hop on clean piano melodies Favourite K-Hip Hop artists I love a boatload, Pe2ny, Beenzino, Epik High, The whole Amoeba Crew, The whole Snipersound crew, the whole BrandNewMusic Crew (Verbal Jint especially) - just to name a few I look forward to being more active here and i also love the array of emoticons this site has ^ how fucking awesome is this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm the same with you as I listen to a lot of my fair share of music but don't really consider myself a fan of many groups. I like the music a lot and love to listen to it while doing things but I wouldn't be able to tell you much about a lot of the groups that I'm listening to. I don't know much about K Hip Hop though, but I really like the things I've heard from Verbal Jint - though I haven't heard much. Do you have any recommendations for him?
