Most of them choose AKB because of their oshimen, while Momoclo is more known as a group. Despite of the size, AKB is an individualist group. More about pushing members than the group itself. Hyadain, NARASAKI (Coaltar of the Deepest), Etsuko Yakushimaru (Soutaseiriron), Hotei Tomoyasu, Ian Parton (Go! Team), Damian Kulas (OK go), etc etc. Maybe you should check to their 5th Dimension or "Battle and Romance". And Momoclo has the best concert, not doing handshakes and no gravure. Momoclo have a pretty weak vocals, composer have a more chalenging part to compose a song for them and direct how the girls need to sing it. Regardless of the variety of composers, it's always about just how the song sounds; the rhythm, the melody, what kind of instruments used. People will only care about the final product. IMO is a very creative song and can only be this fun and crazy with Momoclo. This is their performance on Music Fair, I think Momoclo was on their top condition when doing this. I can definitely see that the songs are actually more complex and maybe a little more experimental compared to AKB, and it really reflects their energetic image.
