English in the title is not a nationality just a language.. basically any band that sings in english is fine... Please recommend me some not so famous english/american rock bands that are not popular internationally. Sorry if the bands I'll mention might be famous there but they are not famous at where I live. Bands that have songs like Coldplay perhaps. I like alternative rock the most. As long as it's not heavy metal rock bands, I'm fine with anything. You can't go wrong with Interpol especially in regards to both Antics and Turn on the Bight Lights, which are staples of the genre. Is This It by The Strokes is probably the most influential album in regards to the genre itself. Bows and Arrows by The Walkmen and You Forgot It In People by Broken Social Scene are also staples. and are also worth looking into. Would like to recommend you acts that are much more underrated and on the lesser known side but it's depending on how much you've explored the genre. Some bands I just happened to discover randomly while looking up YT tbh. I'm checking those bands that you mentioned. The Walkmen, The Strokes and Broken Social Scene seem good. I seem to like the sound of those songs that were posted above in my post it actually has the same kind of feel, I think. I'll check other songs of the bands you mention. Thanks!
