Kang Seung Yoon and Hwang Seung Un of YG Entertainment are going to be acting in a new fantasy romance drama, '1,000th Year Dating,' produced by CJ E&M and YG Entertainment and subsidiary YGKPlus!

 

On October 27, the two were revealed to have been cast as the leads.  The drama will start airing through Naver TV Cast on December 5 as well as China's app, Miaopai.  The drama centers on Mizo, an immortal woman who is 1,000 years old, and a male musician, Jeon Woo, who has an unpredictable personality and appears before her.  She gives love advice to people because of her 1,000 years of experience but gets to experience sincere love after meeting Jeon Woo.  Meanwhile, Jeon Woo is part of hip hop crew, Krunk Soul, and yearns for his first love whom he met fifteen years ago. 

 

Kim Hee Jung plays Yeon Ji, a member of Krunk Soul who has a one-sided crush on Jeon Woo.  Yet another member of the group is Hyung Sik, who has quirky charms and will be played by WINNER group mate Kim Jin Woo.  Jang Ki Yong plays Jason, who was a neighborhood friend of Mizo for a long time.  

 

The production crew revealed that they had their script reading back on October 7 and started official filming on October 11.  It'll air fifteen 10-minute episodes.

Hey y'all 

I came across a thread today about favourite new gen bg vocals and was reminded of how much I love KSY's voice. Tbh he was my first male bias and got me into WINNER since prior to that I was all about the ggs, and had never paid attention to a bg as much as I did WINNER.

 

Even though I'm not as into him and the group as i used to be, that thread got me watching KSY videos again. Among his predebut, solo, group and collab stuff, this is still my favourite vocal performance of his. I think this cover encapsulated everything I love about his voice, his musicality and his personality tbh

 

AND he was only 19 here. Like BYE
