It doesnt really matter how many artists a label have if the have enough management team and staffs. Cube and Acube can merge just fine if they dont sack alot of staff. The staffs will just keep doing their thing maybe switch around a little but thats it

not sure if 100% correct,but CEO Hong is probably the only one that still has personal stocks in ACUBE,not even CUBE the company

 

they would have merged with ACUBE ages ago if they could,it gave all the benefits for getting listed

it strengthens the sales,fame and reputation of the label after Apink's success

but they couldn't because of some businesses behind the background

 

ACUBE's going to debut their own boy group soon and it definitely goes against the plan CUBE heavily promoting BTOB last year

G.NA Enjoys a Date with French Model for “A Week of Romanceâ€

Singer G.NA became part of an eye-candy couple overseas.

On the February 13, MBC Every1‘s “A Week of Romance†revealed sweet stills of G.NA and French model, Maxim.

Maxim had been revealed previously through a teaser video, and his looks were good enough to charm G.NA.

Maxim stands tall at 185 cm, and has perfect skin, a chiseled face and natural blond hair, as well as an excellent fashion sense.

Gna's from out west, she probably just did the basic required french. If that's only Grade 4-9 that's news to me. Where I live you have to take an hour of french every day from age 6 to 15, but I'm from central Canada, way closer to the French part. If you want you can take half your day in French. I did it from Grade 1 to 11 and it was totally worth it. Not a lot of people from out West bother doing that since they're so far from the french speaking part. She probably does have solid basics though.

It's pretty clear Cube created Apink. It isn't a coincidence that all the members of Apink except Eunji who joined a few months before Apink's debut appeared together in BEAST MVs especially Naeun who played the lead in Breath, Beautiful, and I Like You The Best . All labels get their new groups some exposure before they debut them by putting them in their other artist's MVs. Cube even announced Naeun was the first trainee for its new girl group in Feb 2011. This clearly shows that Cube had been preparing for a girl group to debut. Most importantly Kikwang appeared in Apink's debut MV I Don't Know. That didn't happen by accident. Cube was using Kikwang's popularity to get Apink's name out to his fans and BEAST fans. Cube just chose to make a sub label to manage Apink just like how JYP recently made Studio J to manage G.Soul instead of putting him under JYP. The CEO Hong and JYP business is completely different. CEO Hong left JYP and started Cube. JYP never owned Cube or had anything to do with it. And the name Acube itself should tell you it is owned by Cube just like Cube owns Cube DC, which became 100% stock owned by Cube after the merging not before it. It isn't a coincidence that both sub labels contain Cube in it to show its connection to the mother company. Now I don't know if over the years CEO Choi bought all the stocks in Acube from Cube or not if Cube had in the first place be willing to sell it. That is a different story and I think we would've heard of that. I guess we'll find out on April 9.

In his tweet to the fans, Roh Jihoon reveals that he has completed more recordings, possibly preparing for an upcoming release of new music. In addition to his New Year’s greeting, he tweeted, “For New Years, I have also completed recordings in order to produce a good song for you to listen~~~~~~~~â€

Yeah a featuring would be great... I guess this might have something to do with ISAC again. Since he always gets publicity for his goal-keeping during ISAC which was actually what happened last year. He dropped his self-produced single around a week or 2 after ISAC in 2014...

 

A roh jihoon comeback will not affect 4minute though and I think it might just be another self-produced single if ever. I guess he has been honing his composing skills while in Cube's dungeon? Well, at least he was trying to learn something. Kikwang first mentioned about learning to compose early 2012 if I'm not mistaken but it was up until BTOB's Why which was late '13 that he had his 1st co-composed track released. He's had only 3 songs released since learning. Cube seems a lot stricter than what people assume when it comes to releasing songs composed by their artists...
