Not going to lie my mind did think to Beast when I saw that post only because the mention of a big company without past contract issues but if you think about it, it wouldn't make sense. I recall an interview where someone asked Junhyung about running his own company in the future. He said its definitely crossed his mind but he wants to focus on building up the Cube brand. Maybe its the delusional Cube fan in me but I feel like out of so many companies out there, Cube artists have the biggest loyalty to their company. Cube doesn't disciple them for openly taking jabs about lack of promotions sometimes. There's a healthy relationship where their opinions are taken into consideration. Whatever fans think about Cube as a company, the artists always swear by Hong Seung Sung who everyone considers a second father.

I don't think it's a member from Beast. They've been enjoying what they're doing, and if they have any complaints, they're free to tell Cube about it. Just like what Cubic Sensei said, the artists don't get scolded for voicing their thoughts out. For example, Ilhoon bluntly said Cube hadn't been promoting BTOB well.

I understand your intentions. You were curious but polite with your questions, I didn't neg you. Tbh I also thought about Beast when I read this rumor, particularly about Hyunseung but his babe is in Cube so he won't leave her :D

Yoseob did tweet about hating Cube :D Was it before their Good luck comeback.. I think their comeback was delayed for too long (in the end of 2013 Junhyung promised fans to promote more in Korea) so another long break annoyed the boys. Yoseob even said that if Good Luck had failed, it would have been Cube's fault.

But Yoseob recently is like that. He harshly criticize Cube when they made a print mistake by not putting Junhyung's name in the album. He also strongly demanded comeback from Cube.

I think Yoseob's complains comes from trivial negligence from Cube (such negligences happens in every company and to every group at least once in their career) rather than from serious conflict between Yoseob and Cube (ex. not getting enough paid, being overworked which affect his health). I don't think Beast has serious problem with Cube but we can't know for sure. If anything I would bet on Hyunseung that he might be pretty bored with idol life. He doesn't enjoy going to variety shows, seems like a secretive person so doesn't like his privacy to be invaded by journalists who want to catch him dating.. I guess we will see. It could be anyone (Hongki etc)

Popularity of 4Minute is soaring through the skies in China as their two songs are on top of China’s biggest K-pop music video and songs chart right after their comeback. This great result was achieved without the help of special marketing or advertisements. What is the driving force behind their success?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Number 1 in Chinese Music Charts 

4Minute’s pre-released single â€˜Cold Rain’ got to the top of the music video chart in China, Inweitai after its debut on 26th of last month. Thanks to the â€˜Cold Rain’ music video that stayed number 1 for two weeks, the song also climbed to the top of the K-pop chart that shows the popularity of the music in real time. Currently, ‘Cold Rain’ music video had been viewed 470 million times. (Result checked in the morning of February 12, 2015)

 

After the new title song ‘Crazy’ was released on February 9, it swept the charts and its music video got 270 million views in three days time. Needless to say, it climbed to the top of the K-pop music video and singles chart. There are more than million comments all talking about 4Minute where Chinese fans are remarking that members of the 4Minute are simply fabulous and that Hyun-ah has a great voice among other comments expressing admiration. This certainly proves that popularity of 4Minute in China was not a one-time deal.

As it was mentioned, there were no special marketing that took place in China to promote 4Minute. All that had been done so far was to simply provide their single and music video as well as visiting China few times last year.

 

 

Secret Behind the Success  

How did 4Minute manage to achieve all this without marketing campaigns?A source in Cube Entertainment commented that this could be due to the great combination of visual and music of 4Minute which in turn made a big impact in China. It has been also revealed that 4Minute got great responses when they were performing on stage in China last year although they were not well-known yet. Unique and powerful stage presence and dynamic performance of 4Minute is creating big waves in China.

In one of the photos, Jeon Jiyoon puts out the funky side of her with a black jacket and a black skirt, while Heo Gayoon wears a boxy black t-shirt and a mini skirt with a snapback for a cute look. Kwon Sohyun shows her sexy charms in a black see-through top and a mesh skirt.

In the interview that was conducted with the pictorial, the members talk about their new album and some behind-the-scenes stories between the members.

Leader Nam Jihyun says, “In the past two years, we have shown more of a friendly image than a strong warrior image. So it felt a little different when we went back to the strong image.â€
