Huh Gak to sing for 'You Who Came from the Stars' OST

Huh Gak is the sixth artist to sing for the 'You Who Came from the Stars' OST.

The singer is set to sing "Tears Like Today" for the SBS Wed-Thurs drama. Huh Gak has made a hit of every OST he's released so far, such as "Don't Forget Me" and "One Person", so fans are excited to see what he's bringing to the table next.

"Tears Like Today", composed by Jun Hye Sung and written by Choi Jae Woo, will be the theme song for the character Doh Min Jin (played by Kim Soo Hyun).

Roh Ji Hoon thanks fans for loving his comeback track 'A Song for You'

Solo artist Roh Ji Hoon thanked fans for giving so much love to his comeback track "A Song for You".

He posted, "'A Song for You' is finally out in the world! Everyone, I sang until my throat burst for you. Please listen to it a lot~ Fans~ get up!" Unlike his debut with dance track "Punishment", "A Song for You" is an acoustic song written and composed by Roh Ji Hoon himself.

Fans ended up loving his comeback song, and it rose in the ranks of real-time search terms on portal sites. Roh Ji Hoon posted, "Everyone, I'm touched. I'm overwhelmed by all the interest and love. I'll do my best to repay you with an awesome live performance."

Yeah I don't know what they're doing because shin Jihoon could have been promoted differently they should have emphasized more the fact that she's a skater and done a TV reality for her or something like that. for Roh ji Hoon I don't know like I said before put him in a drama would be better for his career right now.

Also because Papa Hong is sick I wonder who is the CEO because he's not that great. it's like Cube took everything default that JYP has with them they don't know how to manage their artist, they have success but don't know what to do with them after. I've finished my rant.

Rain draws a large crowd during filming for 'Guerilla Date'

 

 

Rain will be appearing on the next 'Guerilla Date' segment on KBS2's 'Entertainment Relay'!


On February 6, PD Go Kook Jin tweeted a photo of the superstar drawing a crowd on the streets of Cheongju and the message, "Cheongju paralyzed [by traffic]. Rain's guerilla date! The best ever recorded. I was surprised once again by the popularity of world star Rain. There were so many people we had to stop filming. Thank you to the people of Cheongju."
 
In the photo above, Rain and one lucky fan are being interviewed. Netizens commented, "That big crowd because of Rain," "I should've gone," "I was so shocked when I saw Rain there."

Rain to possibly appear on 'Running Man's Australia special

 

Word has it that Rain might make his first guest appearance on 'Running Man' for its Australia special!

 

 

A source from SBS reportedly mentioned to a few media outlets, "Rain has decided to feature on 'Running Man' which will be filmed in Australia. Because he is busy with his own schedules, it has not been decided whether he will depart with the staff or not yet... Except for Rain's guest appearance, nothing else has been decided yet. When the time is right, the staff will announce it."

 

Regarding this report, Rain's rep commented, "Rain did receive an offer for an appearance on 'Running Man'... However, it hasn't been confirmed yet. He is currently adjusting his schedule and discussing the offer."

 

Like mentioned earlier,'Running Man' cast and crew will be departing for Australia later this month and the episode will air sometime next month. Rain is currently leading a very busy schedule, flying back and forth between Korea and the States for his album promotions and Hollywood film 'The Prince', as well as making visit to Japan for his Japanese fan meeting. 

 

We'll have to wait to see if he is finalized for an appearance, so Clouds, cross your fingers!

G.NA Becomes Member of Musically Talented Family on “A Celebrity Lives in Our Houseâ€

 

Singer G.NA has joined MBC Every1′s variety show “A Celebrity Lives in Our House.â€

 

On the February 20 episode, the Canadian-born idol met her new family for the first time. With three generations living under the same roof, the musically talented household with all of the women practicing Korean traditional music came as a surprise to G.NA, who was first slightly confused over the traditional and large family. However, thanks to her social attitude, she quickly became closer with her new family members.

Even though she tends to have troubles sleeping at an unfamiliar place, it has been said that the singer slept extremely tight at her new home, and did not wake up until her new family took turns waking her up. Also her lovable attitude towards the grandparents of the family has caught the viewers’ eye. As she herself was brought up by her grandmother, it must have been natural for her to act in a youthful and cute manner towards the family’s eldest.

In addition, she and her new younger sisters spent some quality time together. First, G.NA did their makeup like a true older sister, and finally the three headed to Hongdae, an area known for its artistic and youthful atmosphere. As soon as they hit the streets, the news of G.NA’s appearance spread quickly, causing the curious public to follow their outing. Even despite the crowd, G.NA kept leading her sisters and took them to a tarot card expert. To make the experience a bit more special and memorable, they wrapped up their date by purchasing matching accessories.

S. Korean singer Rain to debut in Chinese film industry

 

SEOUL, March 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer and actor Rain has been cast in a Chinese film for the first time, his management agency said Tuesday.

 

Rain will play a talented young painter who falls in love with a woman in a melodrama directed by Gao Xixi, one of China's most famous movie directors, Cube DC said.

 

Rain is one of the most popular male celebrities in South Korea and a well-known star in other Asian countries, and has appeared in several TV series and films, including two American action flicks: Speed Racer (2008) and Ninja Assassin (2009).

 

Liu Yifei, a popular Chinese actress, was cast as the female lead, it said, adding that the title of the new film has yet to be decided.

 

"If we say Rain has so far shown his masculine appeal playing mostly tough and heroic characters in Hollywood films ranging from 'Ninja Assassin' to 'The Prince,' his latest, this film will give him a chance to totally change his image in films," the agency said.

 

The filming of the movie will begin in Shanghai in the middle of this month, it added.

Lady Gaga Makes Appearance at K-Pop Night Out in Texas

 

Artist Lady Gaga has paid a visit to the concert area of music festival SXSW’s K-Pop Night Out.

On March 12 at 0.20am (local time), Lady Gaga could be spotted at Club Allysium in Austin, Texas, where the K-Pop Night Out of 2014 SXSW South By Southwest Music Festival was held. The event included performances by HyunA, Jay Park, Nell, and other representative music acts from Korea. See the full line-up here.

 

Wearing funky sunglasses, a cap, and a black sweater, the star entered the club in a casual attire. Even when the audience begun to notice her and take photos, she responded with a laid-back attitude, and even took photos together with the fans. As Lady Gaga herself performed at the large music festival as well, and seems like she was taking a look at what other artists have to offer.

 

A representative of Korea Creative Contents Agency was present at the time, and commented, “I waited for her at the club after being contacted about Lady Gaga coming there. Based on what I know, she has shown a lot of interest in K-Pop even before this.â€
