[TV Daily] Rain to release Repackaged album and track ‘I Love You’… “Not dedicated to Kim TaeHeeâ€

1391504841_14182815-6.jpg

Soloist Rain has clarified that his upcoming new song ‘I Love You’ is not a song written with Kim TaeHee in mind.

On the 4th of February, Rain’s agency, Cube DC expressed, “Rain will be releasing a ballad track titled ‘I Love You’, a music transformation after popular ‘LA Song’â€

Rain’s ‘I Love You’ is also a song that was composed and written by the starlet himself. With a magnificent accompaniment  of String instruments, ‘I Love You’ is a confession song which perfectly depicts a man’s emotions when he falls in love. ‘I Love You’ starts with a sweet narration and is a song that brings the warmth during winter.

In particular, since ‘I Love You’ is a proposal song that expresses a man’s sincerity, netizens wondered if this song is dedicated to girlfriend Kim TaeHee.

However, in an interview prior to his comeback early this year, he revealed, “The said song is written before I and Kim TaeHee started dating. It was a song 3~4 years ago.†Cube DC representative, too, confirmed the matter with TV Daily, “It’s not a proposal song dedicated towards Kim TaeHee. It’s just a normal proposal songâ€, they emphasized.

Rain and Kim TaHee’s dating news was revealed in January 2013.

The repackaged album includes additional tracks ‘I Love You’ and ’30 Sexy Remix’. It comes together with 64 pages pamphlet and 36 pages notes.

Rain’s new song ‘I Love You’, together with the repackaged album of ‘Rain Effect’ will be released on 7th February throughout all online sites. The album will be available offline on 11 February. Currently, Rain is shooting last few scenes of Hollywood movie ‘The Prince’ in America.

even with the other shin jihoon, they gave her a good song that started to chart well but because it had no buzz, and no promotions it faded right away

they promoted her second single but it didn't do that well, still better than roh jihoon's though

I don't know what CUBE is out for

but as of now he is doing a terrible job

so it seems like it was a misinterpretation regarding management shifting to CUBE

[CLARIFICATION] About misinterpreted news on management change of Sidus artists' Jay Park & others to Cube Entertainment. Please read carefully to understand the source of confusion & eliminate any doubts about the misunderstood information on IHQ-Cube management change below:

The following article, now translated (irrelevant parts omitted), appeared as a financial review on the stocks of IHQ & its subsidiary company, Cube Entertainment by a stock analyst, on April 21 (3.34 PM KST):

"IHQ benefited from its subsidiary company Cube Entertainment

IHQ is waiting for its subsidiary company ‘Cube Entertainment’ to be listed on the stock exchange. Let’s look at the fact that it's stock price didn’t rise, when the other Entertainment companies’ stocks were rising. Furthermore, IHQ's business profit rate is expected to go higher, since the financial structure has been improved. Looking into Cube Entertainment artists, there are Beast, 4Minute, Jay Park and Kim Woo Bin and etc. It is said that the actor, Kim Woo Bin is very popular in China right now, so IHQ stocks can be better than traditional entertainment companies like SM, YG Entertainment or KT Music in the aspects of supply and demand. It is assured that there is a momentum for the companies that are expecting to be listed soon. IHQ is evaluated to be a main beneficiary from China among entertainment companies."

Original Article: http://sbscnbc.sbs.co.kr/read.jsp?pmArticleId=10000650226

The third sentence in this article has particularly worded Jay Park and Kim Woobin (prominent acts from Sidus HQ) as artists of Cube Entertainment, which led to a misinterpretation about change in control of management for these artists (and more) from IHQ to its subsidiary company. However, this is not in fact the case, as there was no official news on any management shifts or changes between the two companies other than this article. The misinterpretation solely arose from the wording of the article and what it implied by naming Sidus acts under the category of artists housed by Cube.

To set the record completely straight, after the merger between IHQ and Cube Entertainment on September 16 2013, nothing has been officially stated or released to the public about the management or financial progress that has occurred after the alliance between the two companies. Cube sold 9001 (50.1%) of its shares, worth 16.5billion KRW (~15.2 million USD) to IHQ (Source: http://star.mbn.co.kr/view.php?no=864237&year=2013), and the main point of this article is to convey that these shares have not yet been listed on the Korean stock exchange market under IHQ's name. When these stocks do get listed, IHQ is one of the entertainment companies expected to gain financial momentum and see a significant increase in business profits.

In short, what does this mean for fans? There has been no change, officially announced, for any artists under Sidus HQ or Cube. Fans of artists from either company do not need to worry as no new changes have been explicitly implemented after the merger. The acts mentioned in this article were simply listed as assets of Cube Entertainment, and Jay Park and Kim Woobin were inaccurately also added to this category, leading to ambiguity and the false implication that they are now being managed by Cube, which we repeat is NOT the case.

Cube list of artist: http://www.cubeent.co.kr/# http://twitpic.com/e1tqc4

We once again apologize for any confusion caused by this article and its misinterpretation, and hope that this clarification will eliminate any inaccurate information and uncertainty that was sourced from jayparknetwork.

[Newsen] Cube Entertainment to enter KOSDAQ… Plans for diversification

Posted on May 28, 2014 by mrsdoob2uty

(May contain inaccuracies)

Cube Entertainment will be entering the KOSDAQ market.

On May 28th, Cube Entertainment will be entering the stock market through SPAC2*. As an affiliate company of iHQ, Cube Entertainment  will be obtaining funds from shareholders with the main aim to enhance their music business, as well as to build an undisputed global KPOP brand.

The merger consists of 1,578,500 Won from SPAC2, and 4,503,000 Won from Cube Entertainment (at a ratio of 1:3.825).

Upon signing of merger agreement today, a general meeting will be held on September 12th for the merger, and the merger date has been set to be on October 17th.

Valued at 15 billion Won, Cube Entertainment plans to improve its financial structure, and to strengthen its overseas business as well as production process through this listing.

Founded in 2008, Cube Entertainment has been a notable company, often being mentioned together with SM, YG and JYP, as one of the Big 4 of the KPOP industry. Currently, Cube Entertainment houses BEAST, 4minute, G.NA, BTOB, unit group Trouble Maker, actress Cho SeoHa, Oh Yeri, gagman Kim Kiri and many more artists. Its wholly-owned subsidiary Cube DC has Rain, Roh JiHoon, Shin JiHoon and actor Kwak SeungNam as part of their promising list of artists.

This year, BEAST will be releasing a mini album and hold Japanese activities. 4minute had also been actively promoting around Europe. Together with its cooperation with Universal Music, more than 4 billion Won as operating profit is expected from this year’s performance.

The CEO of Park ChungMin expressed, “To ensure a rapid growth for a dynamic entertainment business, we have decided to go on with the merger†and, “With this listing, Cube will gain a foothold in the music industry, being global key players like Samsung and LG,†he revealed.

Jeon YongJoo, CEO of iHQ further aspired, “I believe that this is the best opportunity for us to be a global business, along with Cube Entertainment. I’m anticipating larger market expansion for the Hallyu industry we will get through this decision.â€

*Special-purpose Acquisition Company:

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) is a corporation formed by private individuals to facilitate investment through an initial public offering (IPO). The proceeds are used to buy one or more existing companies.

When money is raised by an IPO for a SPAC, the funds are placed into a trust until the purchase is made or a predetermined period of time elapses. If the transaction and associated legal formalities are not completed by the deadline, the money is returned to the investors with allowances for bank and broker fees.

:._.: I can't see it now sinff seriously Cube should promote her more, they can trying to focus on the fact that she's doing skating and singing at the same time and put some Kim Yuna into that even if it's shameless promotion tactics. Probably that netizens won't be happy about that but do something please. she had a good debut but now I really fear she will be like Roh Jihoon.

I checked again she is now at #90

:/

yeah CUBE should definitely media play more about their idols TT
