If Eddie was born in Boston and related to Monica maybe they lived in the US for a time and she took her husband's last name as custom. I don't know. I think its too much of a coincidence that there are 3 Shins who are shareholders in Cube. They have to be related somehow.

So yea more than likely.

I mean like he's specifically said he has an aunt and uncle who looked after him when he was a trainee in Korea. Your theory doesn't sound too far fetched now that I think about it. His sister and brother in law are in the music industry as well. We've never really gotten an explanation of how exactly Peniel came to Cube from JYP. The weird part is Cube had plenty of their own male trainees to choose from including Roh Jihoon.

Wasn't peniel supposed to be part of JJ project? If I remember it correctly...
