me too he's got the looks and charisma just like Kiki but he doesn't have enough vocal talent. cube hardly promoted the boy, but they don't need another group they have enough artist. They are debuting ppl once a year that's too much.

He's a better singer than Kikwang in my opinion, he just hasn't had the proper song to show that.

I dont think Jihoon have enough talent or exposure to go solo. Birth of a great star doesnt do shit since its an unpopular show and its not like he is as talented as Rain or other moderately succesful soloists. Putting him in a duo or a trio wouldnt hurt tbh

he should just become a professional goalkeeper... :raep:

lmao

on a serious note... he can maybe do a project unit like Cube planned late 2011/early 2012 after TM... now that they got lots of artists... why not make that vocal sub-unit of yoseob, hyunseung, jihoon, eunkwang, changsub happen then?

Sounds familiar... ? :derp: I wonder what the haters would say about that especially (inserts company name here) stans.

I think they will but that's only for BTOB though? Maybe a BTOB sub-unit. Does Jihoon know how to play instruments?

Namjoo should've said more than just "wow" though. Kikwang had a hard time reacting after just that one word compared to the other ones who won who were more talkative and cheerful. Doojoon should've never invented the word wow in their korean "english" vocabulary... j/k

I think Yoseob did a better job at MCing IAC early this year... idk...

[News] ‘ISAC’ BTOB Minhyuk snags ‘Sports-dol’ title and BEAST Doojoon crowned ‘Soccer-dol â€˜

BTOB Minhyuk has shown his determination in becoming the next ‘Sports-dol’.

On the 20th September broadcast of MBC ‘Idol Sports Athletic Championship’ (short as ISAC), Lee Minhyuk won the gold medal in men’s high jump category with a record as high as 1.7m.

In the same show, BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon presented his vitality in the mini futsal category and was crowned ‘soccer-dol’.

Yoon Doojoon who usually appeals to fans with his charisma has shown another masculinity side of himself through the competition.

On this day, Doojoon flaunted his capabilities throughout the whole match. He showcased his shooting skills and controls the ball easily.

Yoon Doojoon is a passionate soccer player since his middle school times. His long accumulated skills and experience indeed helped a lot in the competition. Yoon Doojoon also showed his leadership in the team.  Lee Kikwang who was helped by Doojoon further snagged another point in the game.

Commenters recognizes Doojoon’s skills as well. Heo IlHu announcer praised that the players from team D are of near professional standard.  Lee SangYoon even described Yoon Doojoon’s personal skills at Ronaldo’s level.

[Newsen] ‘Spider Hands’ Roh Jihoon, “Plays psychological warfare during a penalty shootoutâ€

‘Spider Hands’ Roh Jihoon has become a star in the recent Idol sports Athletic Championship.

Roh Jihoon who was once a youth national representative goal keeper has particularly stood out in the match. Jihoon successfully blocked string of strong shoots from the opposing team, which helped to bring success to his teammates.

Roh Jihoon spoke to Newsen, “I had musical performances and ISAC to attend to, so I wasn’t been able to sleep well for the whole month. Thoughts such as ‘I can finally play soccer again after almost 10 years’ and ‘it’s gonna be tough’ came into mind at the same time. They were all exciting nights like a child going for a picnic,†expressing his thoughts on attending ISAC.

Roh Jihoon revealed, “During a penalty shootout, the attacking team would be close to the goal post. We have to understand what strategy they would take and therefore, we need to play a game of psychological warfare to disturb their thoughts,†explaining his game strategy.

He  continues, †Before the ball reaches my hands, I’m extremely nervous. “

Jihoon also expressed his passion for soccer, “Soccer is not a one-person game. Playing together with teammates and when the team wins, that happy feeling is doubled. Soccer is indeed an attractive sports.â€

Lastly he added, “The uniform and gloves wore that day are presents given personally by Kim YoungGwang and Kim Seunggyo players†as he express his gratefulness to both players.

I've been somewhat lurking this thread  :derp:

I feel that GNA and Roh Ji Hoon are talented artists that are somewhat out of place in the Kpop world.  I'm not good with words but its like how BoA's songs don't have an SM feel to them.  They have great potential but it's not what Kpop fans enjoy or support?

I remember back in my high school days girls were spazzing about Rain because of Full House then they found out he was a singer.  I believe that's how Australian fans got to know him, majority of them anyway.  Maybe Cube should take this path too with the new... partnership they've acquired and stay far away from Brave Brothers...  Can they not afford Shinsadong Tiger anymore?

How is M4M doing?  I saw photos of them with new hairstyles and we all know that means a Korean comeback!  I don't know why Cube is sprouting out another boyband when they haven't made a place in the Kpop scene for Roh Jihoon & M4M.  They are all over the place.

I though so too because they did not promote in korea at all they only doing MV there and they did their training in Korea. I thnk it's a partnership between Cube and the Chinese Label. They marketing for China most of the member are chinese or from Taiwan. So right now they are mostly in China but maybe in the future they will promote in Korea too.

Correct me if I am wrong

I thought they did some sort of stage in Korea before leaving to promote in China, I must have remembered wrong.  That's an interesting thing to do and change their hair colour then if they're just promoting in China.

I seriously hate the spirit of this forum sometimes... it's like a bashing forum for any other group besides SM or something...

lol at the OP of that thread. saying their physical sales so low so they should just disband....and what's w/ the tagged contents beast and btob...

that's the reason I don't want to make a topic and post on any other threads except cube related stuff...

How many fansigning events did they have???

There's just lots of SM stans here... for sure. You can see by the number of followers and number of pages in their threads & the # of people getting the smtown awards.

Roh Ji Hoon and Goo Ja Myung join celebrity soccer club 'FC MEN'

         roh-ji-hoon-goo-ja-myung_1379747042_af_o

Roh Ji Hoon and Goo Ja Myung's performance on the soccer field at the recent 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' impressed so much that they've now been recruited to the well-known celebrity soccer club 'FC MEN'!

FC MEN's goalkeeper Lim Byung Han announced the news on the 20th, tweeting, "Futsal match was the best. Look forward to the new FC MEN members Roh Ji Hoon and Goo Ja Myung."

The news isn't a surprise considering both 'Birth of a Great Star' singers used to be part of the National Youth Soccer team. Roh Ji Hoon and Goo Ja Myun will be joining members of JYJ (Junsu leads the team), B2ST, and 2AM as well as actor Lee Wan and Sei Ji Suk.
