So who do you think will come back next in Cube? I mean I won't be surprised if it clashes with Apink's(Acube) promotions somewhat coz it has happened a few times already...

I'm hoping for a sub unit... A new one if possible.

But since it's unlikely to happen, I would like G.NA's comeback. A real come back with a (mini) album. I'm still side eyeing Cube for releasing a single that doesn't fit G.NA (even though I liked the song). 4minute should have a comeback too, didn't they say they would ? I don't remember.

My B2uty Ace heart would love AJ's comeback xD But the boys should get some rest first.

 

I think project groups or solos might be likely especially since it's almost end of the year. Although it would be good too for a group comeback for 4minute. I mean not many groups comeback around December so they can take advantage of that? Or else I can definitely see a 4M January comeback.

4minute is going to comeback before G.NA, I would like to see cube Girls in February and 4Minute in January.

I don't find anything wrong with someone doing a remake of it. I feel like this might be the female's perspective on the song which I think would be interesting and if it is really Gayoon, I think it's really good releasing it prior to their rumored 2nd comeback this year to give attention to the group.

 

B2uties, I know it's special and all but in the end... Cube is out there for profit. Milking the popularity of 12:30 is what they will do and I don't think it's going to make the song any less special.

No offense but does Cube listen to the fans? Did they not read the comments before the release? Did they even tell the fans the purpose of the cover?

Taejoo did say after the teaser was released that they rearranged it to give off a different feeling.

Yeah, really out of the blue. I mean, they could have cancelled it after reading some of the comments in the teaser release. What could have been a perfect end of the year with the release turned a bit not good.

 

Well, since they already made an effort to actually shoot it a proper MV, it would be a waste not to imo. Fans should just get it over with... The dislikes on the video though

If I'm not mistaken, they just casually released cover versions for good luck & beautiful night out of nowhere before.

Interesting tho, I never thought LA Song actually did that well. It's the 2nd most download song in Cube/Acube after Mr. Chu based on those visible numbers ofc.

Someone released a thread about girl group digital/physical sales for the year today.

 

probably... I stop checking once it stops charting the week after so if it charts again, I wasn't able to count coz you know... it's too much work already...

the physical sales figure was taken from the gaon & hanteo thread here since I don't have any way to search it up myself. I've only seen secret garden chart on gaon with 15k albums so far this year.

LA Song didn't do that well in the beginning but after he performed it on music shows with a veteran trot singer, Tae Jin Ah, the song managed to climb up the charts. It did help in terms of longevity.

 

Rain and Tae Jin Ah form 'BiJinAh' for 'La Song'

 

I did remember that... it climbed up in the charts but I didn't really expect it had THAT much longevity. It was quite surprising while I was compiling those data actually. I thought it was just maybe 2 weeks or so but it actually charted on gaon's download chart for around 3 months.
