Apparently, the group M4M where member Fang Yilun acted as Ye Jiangfan in (the drama) «â€Unique Flower Boysâ€Â» is currently in the middle of trying to terminate their contract with their company (t/n: I believe the company they are talking about is 星天/Starry Sky and not CUBE). Different than Han Geng and Wu Yifan (Kris), this time Fang Yilun is not terminating the contract by himself, but all four members of the group are trying to terminate the contract with the company. 

 

The reporter is aware that the group M4M was created in Korea last March, captured attention in the beginning, and came back (to China) to further develop. Recently, the member Fang Yilun gained a lot of attention as the character Ye Jiangfan in the Hunan TV super powers drama «â€Unique Flower Boysâ€Â». Once the situation with terminating the contract exploded on Weibo, there were tons of responses from netizens. Some scream disbelief, some support their idols’ choice, and some even yelled out the phrase “M4M terminate contract but not disbandâ€.

For now, the artists and the company both did not respond to this matter. But the reporter found out that this case is already accepted by China Court in Xicheng District, Beijing, and assessed for the first time in a court session not long ago. The reason(s) for terminating the contract and the development of the case will continue to be followed.

Hyunsik composed for HyunA so why not ? Good Life had composed for C-Clown and Shin Jihoon (or was it just Junhyung?). The songs were good.

 

I don't think they've worked on a song outside of their team individually so yeah it's Good Life.

sidus is a different company tho. From what I understand, they own 50.01% of Cube's shares so what they have in Cube is financial interest so that's why they're helping with the merger but they are considered 2 separate entities.

 

Based on last year, what they had was a strategic alliance where they share resources. Probably why we see lots of Cube artists in variety shows & dramas this year must be because of Sidus. And musicians under Sidus can use Cube's music production resources & connections I guess. That's my basic understanding of it unless I'm mistaken.

4minute needs to regain their popularity with a vood song they have eveything the visual line:Hyuna, Gayoon and Jihyun. Dancer line Sohyun and Hyuna. Main vocals Ji Yoon and Gayoon. Rappers Ji Yoon, Hyuna and So Hyun.

 

no to brave bros.... that's all I can say for now.

 

People want to bring back S.Tiger but he hasn't had any hit this year either with the songs that he did for other ggs so I'm not sure about that.

Sorry I downvoted your comment but I was going to upvote.

I think Cube follows BB because of What's your name. The same with BtoB. Cube wanted almost the same song because they succed with it. That is so bad.

 

Well, hopefully they won't use BB again. Also, BTOB didn't use BB for their recent comeback but it still didn't do well.

if cube want 4minute to do good on charts they need to ask BB for the another alone rip off tbh

but in btob case, they need another producer because BB never was as successful with guys as with girl group i think

 

like what he does with the younger ggs like AOA & now Hello Venus? I'm not sure about that... 4minute can do fierce sexy like IMMM but I don't know if that will give them success but that was one of the songs that I liked from them.

 

BTOB debuted #10 on melon with Beep Beep, best they've ever charted and they got music show nominations that time too. They didn't come back with a BB song for their most recent comeback which didn't do as well as Beep Beep.

A significant part of Beep Beep's success is thanks to BB's name, I believe people would try a song he made.

Unlike for You're So Fly, the duo Tenzo&Tasco is still very new (it's a duo under Duble Sidekick's agency btw). I personally like this song better than Beep Beep.

 

4minute's "old style" (S.Tiger) was the best sound for me. I don't know whether Cube would hire him back, it seems like it's all in the past now. I had a small hope for his return when I saw his name credited in BTOB's Why arrangements. Nothing since then.

I don't want another BB for 4minute, they deserve better songs.

 

 

 

It still surprises me that BB participated in some of Big Bang's old hits. His songs for guys all have a similar sound, I actually have songs from Electroboyz that I mistake for Teen Top's songs when I randomly listen to my music.

 

 

BB produced Roh Jihoon's & Kikwang's debut albums...

that's exactly what i thought, all of the recent trending groups (with exception of apink) gained success thanks to BB, it doesn't matter if i-fans like it or not but it looks like koreans love bb songs, even if they all sounds alike (sistar's alone, girls day something, aoa short hair) i would not be surprised if HV will be become the next rising group

but it depends if fans want good sales and success or quality music and "good songs"(on the other hand it looks like bb music has some quality to knetz if they listen to it), but let's remember that lesser success = lesser company interest in caring about the group, especially when it comes to the older ones i guess 

 

 

in btob case i know that beep beep did good (at least for btob standarts), but what i wanted to say is that the songs that he gives to boy groups can't reach the level of succes  that his girl group hits can gain, boy groups that are working with him didnt do as well (teen top for example), so there is no reason to endure bb music compositions 

 

yep those ggs who went with that sexy BB songs start to rise...

 

I did notice that for boy groups who use BB too. When BTOB released Press Play, I thought they already found their identity and sound then idk what happened coz they seem lost now.

 

We talk about groups but honestly Cube's solo artists are getting shafted... Gna, Roh Jihoon?

 

I can be patient and understand Shin Jihoon not promoting much since she's still young and probably has to juggle training, school & being a figure skater so people shouldn't expect much from her tbh as far as Cube promotions for her (at least for now imo). I actually have a feeling Cube offered her a spot in their roster with the intention that she can still skate while also sing. Wasn't she asked to choose between the two but she said she wants to do both so I won't really blame Cube too. We don't know what they've agreed.

I think that if shinsadong Tiger comebacks as Cube producer. The other artist could have success or gaining again their popularity like 4Minute, BtoB, G.NA, Shin Ji Hoon and as well Roh Ji Hoon.

 

maybe? but I won't hope for too much. S.tiger probably wanted to leave Cube? In 2012 Volume Up didn't do as well as his other songs for 4M, Beast didn't use his song Midnight as a title track but only as a pre-release. I think it was around that time that his & Cube's relationship started not being in good terms? idk I think Now , When I was Your Man (BTOB) and NoNoNo (Apink) may have been songs he has produced before he cut ties with Cube.

 

imo... 2yoon had the best album in 2013 from Cube...

I don't think so because they have worked with Now; Trouble Maker and He have not make any comeback for others groups.

if he continuous in Cube he can make that Cube gain attention again like in 2011 era. I really want o see all the roster be succesful and Cube can sell their stocks in a higher way and can be finally public.
