So Jay Park being casted in SNL Korea was something Sidus did, right?

I want Beast to appear on SNL!!! 4minute was able to guest there earlier this year because WYN was so popular, right?

Yes. They even got 2EYES to join the cast even though one member can't do it because shes a minor.

This is just speculating like everything else until we actually see something but we might start seeing some more music videos from Cube. 2EYES got a drama one for their debut. Jay supposedly is releasing 11 total this year although I only counted 4 so far. I'll just be happy with them using someone besides ZanyBros for once.

Rain Officially Signs with Cube DC

Gearing up his return as a musician, Rain officially stamped his contract with Cube Entertainment’s label company, Cube DC.

On September 17, Cube Entertainment announced that Rain official signed onto the company on September 16.

Rain is now a part of Cube DC, which also houses Roh Ji Hoon, Kwang Seung Nam, and Jung Ji Hoon, while Cube Entertainment manages B2ST, 4minute, G.Na, BTOB, and comedian Kim Ki Lee.

The announcement that Rain will be joining Cube was announced in May with chairman Hong Seung Sung.

Meanwhile, Cube Entertainment and iHQ established a strategic partnership on September 17.

who's zanybrothers? :derp:

I want more Beast mvs! actually everyone in Cube...

wow... iHQ got lots of money to make those mvs...

They shoot music videos for almost everyone. It's the director you see in BTS videos sitting in a chair. If its a box set, you know its them.

I guess not. He couldn't really sign a contract when he was in the army and his schedules so far were set up before he was discharged.

Oh okay... so does zanybrothers do mvs for SM too? or just those outside of SM?

So this partnership, we might see the fruits of it maybe by next year, you think?

ZanyBros works with everyone. Sidus is probably one of the few companies that doesn't use them.

If my math is correct:

Revenue: 21,100,000 USD

Net Profit: 550,000 USD

Operating Income: 2,300,000 USD

Seems kind of off somewhere O.o

Never mind did my math wrong. Cube spends a lot of money lol. Net profit is like 2.6%.

If operating income is about 10% of what they make, where the hell does the rest of the money go lol. Either Beast is balling or I don't understand. It's been reported in the past the Cube spends about 30% of their revenue on training but that should be under operating income no?

So apparently I do know a little bout securities but all this convertible bonds and shares is still giving me a headache...

So Papa Hong is going to invest 2 billion won worth of convertible bonds in IHQ.

Convertible bonds basically converts at some point in time to number of shares in IHQ... why bonds though? I guess since bonds are less risky... hmmmm... I guess wise decision from him...

I'm an accounting graduate failure... I forgot how all this works already...

I'm looking at the numbers thrown out in the JYP merger thread and if I'm reading it correctly:

JYP 2013 revenue: 27 Million USD
Cube 2012 revenue: 22 Million USD

JYP operating income: 1.6 Million USD
Cube operating income: 2.3 Million USD

I don't think these numbers include A Cube, Music Cube, Big Hit, or J. Tune though. JYP's is projected since we still have 3 1/2 months left in the year. I don't know if Cube's is projected or how they've been doing this year up until the merger. JYP expects their revenue to double and operating income to go up 10x next year
