so... went through that kpop managers thread and saw those gifs of SM managers... are Cube managers like that too? I mean were there instances they actually resorted to physical violence to control fans? I only saw some screencaps of them just trying to control the crowd by not letting them pass through or take some gifts from fans instead of their artists or just pushing cameras down but not really physically doing anything to the owner of that cam but then I really don't know anything.

 

Or is it just because Cube's artists don't have those kind of fans?

I don't Cube has fans like that notice that it's SM that has the Sasaeng fans more than others not to say B2ST doesn't but it's not as big. I've never seen 2pm managers do anything like that either.

 

I just wanted to make sure coz I didn't really check on kpop as much as I do for the past year and maybe there were instances back during 2011 when they were on a rise that I didn't know about.

Team B with Doojoon, Yoseob, Kikwang, Minhyuk, Eunkwang and Roh Jihoon managed to get gold/1st place

 

Minhyuk won 2 Gold & 1 Silver (Gold: High Jump, 60m sprint || Silver: mix gender relay)

Apink with Gold medal (don't know what event)

 

Sohyun got gold medal for archery too!

 

Team B (Minhyuk, Naeun, Daehyun, Hyosung) won 2nd place (silver) in mix gender relay ^^

hey guys does anyone know when b2st is coming back?

 

well, Junhyung said that after his solo promos they will work right away on Beast next album so I guess they will be doing that the 1st quarter of the year while doing their Japan tour. Yoseob once said too in an interview that they will come back with their next mini on April which might really be possible but I always give it a month or two of being delayed coz that's what has been happening for the past 2 years. I would say around May or June.

M4M are more into the China market , Shin jihoon is realtively new she was part of Kpop star season 2, Roh jihoon is in Cube closet somewhere.

IM Investment and Securities Co. has predicted that IHQ will meet the Earning Guidance requirement (expected results) for this year due to BEAST’s Asia promotions and Kim WooBin’s increasing CF fees.

Kim HyunJoo researcher in IM Investment said, “In 2013, the consolidated accounts showed that estimated revenue of IHQ has increased by 24.7% to 56 Billion Won in a year. However, it is estimated that there will be a 82.3% reduction (4 Billion Won) in operating profits compared to last year.†He continued, “Cube Entertainment reflected results starting from the 4th quarter, which had seen a growth in appearance. However, 2EYES’ album sold sluggishly and drama ‘Princess Aurora’ sees a low profitability.â€

 

That said, Kim Researcher said, “For this year, we estimate revenue to be 80 Billion Won and 8 Billion Won for net profit, which shows an increase of 31.2% and 2109.9% compared to last year†and, “Subsidiary Cube Entertainment will see an increase this quarter, as we anticipate BEAST’s activities in Asia as well as actor Kim WooBin’s CF fees. Moreover, ‘I Hear Your Voice’ writer Park HyeRyun has a high possibility of writing a new drama for mainstream broadcast, and therefore, we think that IHQ will meet its requirement this year,†he expleined.

 

On September 30th last year, IHQ acquired shares of Cube Entertainment and expanded from their existing artists (Park JaeBom, 2EYES) to include the addition of BEAST, 4minute, BTOB, G.NA and more. BEAST’s advancement to the Japanese market this year will be one that is worth anticipating, according to Kim Researcher.

 

He added, “BEAST signed with Japan’s advertisement company Hakuhodo DY in May last year and had sealed a 3-years deal with Hakuhodo DY for any large events organizing†and, “Cube Entertainment was guaranteed a minimum amount of 8 Billion Won while profit in excess will be distributed based on a percentage of the revenue. In 2014, BEAST will have a total of 52 performance in Korea and Asia promotions, including Japan. In 2015, BEAST has been scheduled to perform in Tokyo Dome, which will satisfy the Earning Guidance as well.â€

So many schedules in Japan for B2ST, they need to promote in Korea 

 

Hopefully they will get some decent promotional activities when they come back. I don't mind that they don't promote as much but at least hype their comeback a lot, put lots of teasers, get them to more popular variety shows, etc when they promote and not shipping them back and forth to Japan during their comeback... -_-
