4Minute is the First K-Pop Girl Group to Hold Solo Concert in Europe
 

Girl group 4Minute has successfully wrapped up their second official solo concert in Europe.
On May 25, 4Minute opened up their very own concert “4Minute Fan Bash in Stockholm 2014†at the Debaser Medis in Stockholm, Sweden. Over 1,000 fans from all over Europe, including Norway, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, and more, gathered to watch the two hour concert.
4Minute is the first-ever Korean girl group to hold a solo concert in Europe. Prior to their performance in Stockholm, the group also enjoyed an exciting concert in Barcelona, Spain on May 23.
The members were met with loud cheers from the audience as soon as they opened up the concert with “What’s Your Name?†They displayed their characteristic powerful performance and brought up the atmosphere with the “club performance†concept, using Europe’s much loved electronic sound.
4Minute showcased a number of special stages that were prepared especially for the Europe concert, receiving a positive response from the fans. The group was able to show off their various charms through remix performances, as well as their skilled dancing during dance breaks.

On May 25th (local time), 4Minute held '4Minute Fan Bash in Stockholm2014' at Debaser Medis, located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Approximately one thousand fans from Norway, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, and a great number of other countries in Europe attended the concert, and spent an unforgettable time with 4Minute.

4Minute were the first K-Pop girl group to hold a solo concert in Europe, and they opened the stage with 'What's Your Name?'

Since the concert venue was a club, 4Minute organized their setlist with many songs of electronic genre, which is one of the most popular musical genres in Europe.

In addition, fans from Sweden and many other European countries drew many people's attention by holding a special flash Mob event before 4Minute's concert as well.

Meanwhile, 4Minute held a solo concert in Barcelona, Spain on May 23rd, and headed over to Sweden for another concert on 25th.

The meeting between KPOP girl group 4minute and Spain was hot.

4minute held their solo concert on 23rd May (local time) in Barcelona, Spain. Their solo concert, titled ’2014 4minute Fan Bash in Barcelona 2014′ was held in Club Razzmatazz

 

They are the very first girl group to have a solo concert in the Europe continent. Fans from Italy, France, England as well as Brazil, Peru came to Barcelona in order to get seats into 4minute’s concert. It was reported that fans waited a long queue outside the concert venue since early in the morning.

 

 

Fans gathered from various places waited for the concert. They danced and sing to 4minute’s song and even greeted each other in Korean. This was the positive and passionate atmosphere seen for 4minute’s first Europe solo concert.

4minute started with ‘What’s Your Name’ together with DJschedule1′s DJ-ing as part of a special performance. The concert started out glamorously with the strong electronic sound in the Europe continent.

‘Whatcha You Doin†followed after and fans followed in their singing as well. About 1,000 fans shouted and cheered ‘Daebak’ for 4minute’s performance.

 

As soon 4minute greeted in Spanish, fans response was at its peak. As they finished off their greetings, fans presented surprise gifts to Gayoon, whose birthday was celebrated not long ago. They sang Gayoon a birthday song on the spot and she was seen moved by their actions.

 

4minute continued with their performances, including ‘Muzik’, ‘Mirror Mirror’, ‘Volume Up’, Heart2Heart’ with a new touch of remix sounds together with their powerful performance. Their charisma captured attention from the crowd. The stage was filled with ballads and dance songs.

Moreover, Hyuna performed a few of her solo tracks while unit 2YOON went on stage with all members, which had garnered claps from below. Gayoon and Hyuna even performed ‘Come In’ and JiHyun, SoHyun, Jiyoon performed ‘I’ll let you know’, which have earned equally passionate cheers from fans.

A fan who came to Barcelona from Brazil Sao Paulo, Kaiki (20) delivered his thoughts, “I’ve been attracted to 4minute’s glamorous performance and fresh new style when they first debut†and, “I was moved when I saw 4minute’s stage in United Cube Concert in Brazil in 2011, I can never forget that moment.†And, “4minute’s thrilling performance and style made them one of the most unique styles in KPOP. I wish to hear Gayoon’s beautiful vocals in Brazil,†he expressed.

 

A university student Leo Rindo (21) came to the venue early in the morning and danced KPOP dances while speaking in Korean to friends around. “Since Hot Issue, 4minute’s songs have been fun and it has an addictive charms to it. Their performance are really stylish and I follow after them a lotâ€, “When it was announced that they will be coming to Barcelona, it was like a miracle.â€

 

Meanwhile, 4minute flaunted their skills in Spanish with ‘I Love You’ and ‘I missed you’ in the native language, which has further garnered cheers from fans. 4minute even had variety of talk time to interact with fans.

 

Even after the concert has ended, fans of 4minute were filled with unwavering passion. 4minute members once again came on stage for an encore stage. The members of 4minute even personally left precious memories with fans on their own SNS as gratitude to the audience.

The concert lasted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. 4minute started their Europe solo concert with Spain, and will soon move to Sweden Stockholm for ’4minute Fan Bash in Stockholm’. 4minute will be departing Spain on the 24th, to continue with more solo concerts in the Europe continent.

'Trot Lovers' showed A Pink's Eunji doing what she does best, singing, for her first filming!

She sang Nam Jin's "With You" at a karaoke room as the talented hopeful Choi Chun Hee who doesn't give up her dream to become a trot singer despite her difficult background. It has been revealed that she also dyed her hair black to look the part of her character who hasn't made her debut yet in the drama.

 

Eunji shared, "I am thankful that the director and other actors are really friendly to me. As it was my first filming, I am still awkward but I was happy that I got to film in a friendly atmosphere... Compared to the viewers' good reviews, I think that my acting is lacking a lot. I will continue to stay up studying [my script] and work harder, so I hope that you watch me fondly."

 

'Trot Lovers' is a romantic comedy about Choi Chun Hee (Eunji), a woman in her twenties who has a talent for singing trot, and her meeting with Jang Jun Hyun (Ji Hyun Woo), a top musician who helps her to become a trot singer.

 

'Trot Lovers' is set to follow 'Big Man' on June 23!

Cube Voice Project Starts Up Again with Second Single

 

Following B2ST Yang Yo Seop and Cube Girls’ duet Perfume, Cube Voice Project is starting up again with a new second single.

 

On June 3, Cube Entertainment will release the second song from the Cube Voice Project titled Like That Day (translated). It hasn’t been revealed which artist from Cube Entertainment will be singing this new song

 

Like That Day will be a soft ballad song with a piano and voice filling in the empty spaces. The song is about waiting for that loved one to one day return.

 

The Cube Voice Project puts its focus on just the music and the voice to allow the listener to discover new charms that comes with the voice.

 

The second single will be released on June 3.
