Actress Han Kyung Sun passes away

Veteran actress Han Kyung Sun, who was earlier announced to have suffered a sudden stroke due to cerebral infarction, has passed away. 

 

As previously reported, the actress suddenly fell unconscious on June 30 after having a meal together with the staff following the filming of her MBC daily drama. She was rushed to the hospital, and she regained consciousness for a short time on July 1, but soon fell unconscious again. She had been in a critical state yesterday, and it was revealed today (July 4) that she passed away at 12 AM.

 

Her reps revealed that her family and friends were with her when she passed and the actress went peacefully without any pain.

 

Her wake has been set up at the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, and her funeral procession will take place on the 6th.

 

The actress has appeared in a variety of of productions over her career, receiving love for her roles in 'King Gwanggaeto', 'Ruby Ring', 'Cuckoo's Nest', and more. Most recently, she had been starring in MBC's daily drama, 'Great Wife'.

 

Our hearts go out to all her loved ones including her family, friends, and colleagues. May she rest in peace.

This is so sad!  :( Even though I've never seen any of her dramas I remenber reading about her beeing in a coma and I prayed for her well-being TT and Today I was surprised of the news of her passing away .
