I love how this album is about going back and remember the good times and how they put little things that were directed to Shawols. It's truly the perfect way to celebrate #7YearsWithSHINee

 

Love Sick - This song is almost a re-run of 'Replay' but this time they are receiving the love back, like when they first debuted they were trying to gain fans hearts and now that they have it they are still in love. I think it's a way of saying that even after 7 years the connection between SHINee and SHINee World just became stronger and that now the love goes both ways.

 

An Encore - It's about being so used to each other that sometimes we are uninterested and it seems that our love faded from some people, like when people think SHINee World is little because we are just hidding in our little caves until SHINee is back or they need us, and sometimes we don't cherish eachother like we suppose to but in the end we always comeback to the same place and we always look for each other. I think this song was so precious to them because they felt like after 1 year and 8 months we were more distant but the truth is that when the concert was annouced Shawols were there ready to go again because SHINee and Shawols always find they way back.

 

An Ode To You - Do I need to talk about this song? :') I'll just put here the song with the translation and I think Shawols will understand

 

 

Alive - This song starts with the 3 words all Shawols wanted to hear 'SHINee is Back' and then all this song evolves to this: 

 

"Which color of mine do you believe?
I believe in the blue light on top of your hand
Under your white skin
Under the blue line of light
I believe the life that flows"

 

 

 

And it continues:

 

"When you shine, the world moves
It comes to life and moves
When that blue light shines
I feel that I am alive
I am the most myself
You’re an amazing miracle

The were talking about receiving our light so they can become light and the meaning of their name, ‘SHINee': the ‘SHINE’ part means light, and ‘ee’ is a suffix, thus meaning ‘one who receives the light’. You can find more if you look to the full translation ^^

 

And then you have the songs that brings to the past:

 

If 'Love Sick' is obvious did you perhaps took a look at 'Trigger'? :D that song clearly reinds me of 'Lucifer' to the point they say: "You were like an angel but you’re the lucifer of the night"

 

 

It's so good to receive an album as amazing as this one after 1 year and 8 months of waiting the boys never disappoint when it comes to music and knowing that they had more freedom preparing for this album makes me really happy

When I first listened to Alive I was like

Because I still haven't made it past freaking Odd Eye to really listen to the other songs. It's too good

Just like the boys, the album is hella fine. The concept and all no heavy make ups, or interesting clothes. Just them and simple clothes just like when they debuts. After 7 years, they are still able to pull off fresh looks of cos their dedication in those songs, and the concert they did not sing title songs, plus the last day of concert, shawols literally sang along till the end. Shinee ft shawols concert.

How to not freaking Stan them after so many years, they were still the same shinee, just with some upgrades.

Also the best part of this era was that they looked so happy in each performance

BTW, all this time I have different point of view on An Encore lyrics (the lyrics relate to me in personal level, it reminds me of family and friends around me that sometimes I took for granted because I generally suck at communicating and maintaining relationship) but OP's point of view is also touching.
