What's Moonbyul's purpose in Mamamoo? All she does is rap right?

Can Moonbyul sing too? Yes, she can!

I hope we can finally silence that small group of people who sometimes try to pick on Moonbyul for not belting out power vocals like the other three members.

Moonbyul chooses to rap; she's not doing so because she wasn't "talented enough" to be a singer in the group. If you go to Mamamootrans on youtube and watch their interview on AfreecaTV, she even thought seriously about debuting as a singer! Besides, she is a vital part of those awesome Mamamoo harmonies we love so much.

In short, all four members of Mamamoo pour out talent like the Niagara Falls and Moonbyul is no exception

All hail!

She can't rap... or dance.. so she is in the right group.. only "great" thing is their overrated vocals... not even visuals to make up for their lacking

OMG I was like WTF! Who's coming for Moon Star lol.

MMM PR is the best as always

There would be nothing wrong if she could only rap as she's great at it; although not on the level of the other three vocalists, the fact that she can actually sing and harmonise with the group is just the icing on the cake.

Lbr it's really hard to come at MMM; like they have everything on lock.

Even though her vocals are not as powerful or honed as the other three, her voice is absolutely very nice and I'm always so hyped when I see even a small clip of her singing because she doesn't do it often. :chu:

Mamamoo is a group where all members are talented and can sing. I don't get why people trying to pick at Moonbyul. She raps well, writes her own raps, helps choreograph, and now has proven she has a decent singing voice as well. She's also getting prettier and prettier with every comeback. What more do people want?

How can anyone possibly pick on her or any of the other Mamamoo girls though? Moonbyul rapping sounds good, actually fits the songs and she has a lot of stage presence. There's absolutely no reason to hate her.

Not when you have Yeri, who serves no purpose in RV.

what purpose does Yeri have? She's not main or lead anything she is just there. A backup dancer could do that

Oh right. I forgot that Yeri is in the group. She is kinda very much invisible and unnecessary, I agree. But even with her, RV are the best rookie group. I wouldn't mind kicking out Yeri though.

Are you really trying to make this a Red Velvet vs. Mamamoo thing? Each group brings a different style to the girl group arena.

All the members laugh at your pettiness in their Mamavelvet chatroom.
