Seems a lot of these nugus type groups use ex models and race queens. Pocket Girls and Lay-T are a good example. I wouldn't be surprised if some other members of Laysha/Bambino used to do similar things pre-debut.

well i guess we have a Dahee in Diana and Bambino both? lol I thought maybe since

those pics i posted was quite older...maybe she had lost weight since then..well guess

Easy mistake I guess. I would have been confused myself. I don't know a damn thing about Diana, so the name would have made me think of Bambino. I actually wanted to make a Diana thread also. But they seem to be a different type of group, like just one singer and backup dancers. I don't think they have a single yet either. And I doubt people would care about them. It's hard enough trying to get attention for Laysha and Bambino.

And then there is Glam's Dahee who blackmailed blah blah...

 

I came here because of the artist or aka NineBraveMuses. Hehe.

 

Anyhow I saw a few fancams of Dahee and she no trouble making eye contact while dancing provocatively. I don't know why I find that astonishing lol.    Bambino seems to have no problem pulling off the (sex)y concept without looking awkward or forced. I don't know many female K-Pop groups who can pull that off. Then I hear this "Oppa Oppa" song and it threw me off. It's a cute song. I read it's a remake or something but I don't care. Many K-Pop groups start off dancing and doing covers all to get exposure and experience. I don't know what it is, but this is a group I'll keep my eyes on.   Er, you know what I mean.

Yes, Bambino has no trouble being sexy, I mean that is their whole purpose anyway, haha. It's comes natural for them, it's not a concept but rather the girls just being themselves and doing what they want to do. As for "oppa oppa" I don't think it's a cover, but it was influence by some arab/turkish/greek, song or something. I actually listened to it but now I can't remember the artist name so I can't reference it. But either way, the song is cute and it's catchy, that's all that matters. Glad to see you here, don't by shy to let loose in here, lol.

I agree about "oppa oppa" it's pretty damn catchy. I mean quality wise, maybe not that amazing compared to the bigger groups. But if we simple judge how catchy it is and how we enjoy listening to it. I think that's the most important thing. I definetely enjoy it more than a lot of other songs I've heard this year by bigger groups. I don't really ask for much from my bias groups, all I want is a really catchy song and I'm satisfied. All too often the bigger groups try a little too hard to do too much that the concept/songs ends up being underwhelming.

 I've watched several fancams and "Oppa Oppa" dance practice, and I have this feeling they do CT's deliberately.

 

"Oppa Oppa" has that cute, up-beat sound similar to some of T-ara's songs. Their dance practice kinda reminds me of the dance group Waveya. The fancams seem to be getting quite the buzz, but I'm wondering how the song is doing. I haven't seen it on iTunes yet. Unless it's a promo song and won't be released commercially? I'm also curious if they'll continue doing cute songs or songs similar to Stellar. 

 

Every group needs an attention getter, why not a CT? 

 

It's is odd that their single is so cute and upbeat. You'd think it'd be some dance track or some EDM think to match their sexy dancing. But I'm actually happy they went witha cutesy song, it's works well for them. The combination of cute and sexy it's always a hit for me.

I have a friend who has similar features to Hadam. Yeah, she's got a figure too lol. She doesn't dress like that though lol.

 

I actually thought about it and my guess is that these dance covers they're doing is mainly to get their names out and stage experience. Because of their sexy choreography they'll get attention. Pharkil is eating it up lol. If they stick with the cute songs the tough part is selling that idea to the fans. Unless they do somewhat of a hybrid thing and do cute songs with sexy choreography. Kinda like in J-Pop without the cosplay lol. I dunno. Right now I don't even know how they sing, but we know they can hook the audience.

 

But she should...

 

Thing about "Oppa Oppa" is that it's kinda cute, but at the same time it's kinda isn't. I thinks it's just more of a fun song rather than a cutesy songs. I don't think they'll have any problems as long as they market themselves as a fun party groups. They don't really have to market the sexuality, that part will just come naturally. I mean I don't watch their "Oppa Oppa" fancams for the sexiness, but for the fact that I just enjoy the song and choreography. I think if the music is good, the group will be fine.

Fancams is what got me interested lol, and I don't regularly watch fancams. Not even Hani's fancam and I'm a fan lol. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm intrigued.

Yes, fancams rule all. I'd rather see what HQ angle and see all the choreography. The music show videos aren't also good quality and can be worse when camera angles are bad. I don't mind the professional stuff, I watch them all the time. But really love fancams. I've only ever see that Hani fancam a couple times. I try to avoid it, honestly I don't see the hype, I had been watching her fancams long before that and I can tell you she has better ones. I'm still puzzled to this day what made that fancam so big. Give me her "every night" fancams any day.

Ah ok. It's better than nothing I guess. I'd wait a bit longer so see if anything better pops up. But it's a start. 

 

I like EXID...but i'll agree with you on Hani's viral cam...i don't see what all the hype was about..i'm

sure Eunsol and the girls has pulled most of the attention away from it by now...some of the cams

i went back thru of Bambino and some of those have several mill views to them

 

Eunsol's fancams are right up there with Hani. Only difference is that Hani's fancam is from last year so it's just accumulated so much more views. Plus being in a proper idol group helps. But yeah, Eunsol is no joke when it comes to fancams.

They just performed here in Thailand the other day, literally a short 10 minute drive from where I normally hang out. Sad part is, I had no idea about the event. I knew they were in Thailand from Hadam's Instagram account photo at their hotel. But I didn't know what reason they where here for, and that they'd be performing. They were so close to my hangout area that I could have easily gone and seen them had there been some proper advertisement about it.  Did Bambino every say anything? I wish we had a schedule of their activities. I feel bad that I missed out on the event.

The dates don't match, they performed like 2 days ago, so that would be the 27th or 28th. I don't think that poster is referring to anything outside of Korea.
