Hiiiiiii. I am new here at onehallyu! I don't know how things work, realy. But I created an account (same as creating a new instagram account) just so I can express my love and affection and major fangirling over my kpop loves epsecially my ultimate bias Yesungssi! So you can just imagine how happy I was when I saw this thread! I haven't finished backreading yet

 

However I have to say that it is kinda sad how this tnread was more active when Yesung was in service He has variety guestings now, KRY concerts, super camp all over Asia, plus upcoming solo! We should make more noise now.

 

When you look up "super camp" in IG, I am proud to say that his face and funny clips are the most popular! Hahahaha

Realllyyyy? You want safe for his first single? I don't know. It's just that he has been doing ballads in his OST stints for like years already. But when he did a power-ballad/rock song in Immortal Song, EVERYONE'S MIND BLEW AWAY. Then there's those b sides in SuJu albums which are truuuullllllyyyyy trulllyyyy GOLD like Simply Beautiful. And also his singing in Sorry Sorry Answer.. those 2 songs are examples of how his voice can really shine in an R&B/soul track.

 

As a fan, I want the best for him, and I just think that at this point in his career, he must take risks so that he can really broaden his horizon. And be different from what he comfortably does.

 

Kyu was super successful with his first solo ballad. Good for him!

 

Ryeo on the other hand, successful yes, but not at least 3/4 with what Kyu was able to achieve I guess.

 

Now, with Yesung, I hope he deviates from K, R and KRY. His voice is special. He can do more.

 

Well. Have you heard that song he composed and performed in Phonograph? Not really ballad-y, it's very chill. But super catchy. These type can be his b-side tracks.

Anyway, these are just MY OWN opinion. It's not like I can go to Label SJ and suggest these to them hahahahahahahahahaha! But this is what I hope. And more importantly, I pray that his solo will SLAAAAAY! Slay charts, slay digital downloads, slay physical sales! SLAY SLAY SLAY! LOL

 

If he goes through the safe route, then ok. It's not like I won't like it. Because I'm a Cloud, I'll be lovin' anything he'll release, THAT'S FOR SURE

Hmmm...Ya, been thinking like what you've mentioned. Wish him will do others genre song rather then Ballads as he's been doing it for years. I love to see he sing in rock, power-ballad...his voice is very special that can try different type of genre music. Hope for the best of his solo. He's sure to feel the pressure but he always do his best,so he shouldn't worry too much. Wish the best for him.

And, hope he slay in all areas for his solo. I'm Cloud that always cheers for him for everything he's doing. Yesung, Fighting!! 💪🎤🎶😘

A lot of us are pretty much confident with what he can do vocally maybe that is why we want him to try other genres. Yep he must work hard but at the same time not really put too much pressure in himself. He already has a strong fanbase, plus his voice is really brilliant. He shouldn't worry

they louded Yesungs voice and deleted the background voices, rain and fans screaming. And instead of apology they managed to spell Yesungs name wrong. They wrote "YesEung"..         

its a new level... 

 

 

What a shame on doing this...deleted the background when everyone was listening to it LIVE...

So disappointed with MBC....they should have apologize for all these problems occurs during the show...

That's exactly y I changed my opinion. We ended up bashing his Mom somehow. But everything she did was out of love for her son. She loves him so she wanted the best possible future for Ye, so she changed it with best will. And in fact I rlly have high respect for Yesungs whole family. His Mom, Dad and his cute brother. His family is one out of 3 members families I like the most, after Hyuks and Teuks. So I don't rlly would like to go against her or Yesungs will. I simply try to make a spagat between that ppl find what they search for and Yesungs wish. I will make both, as u sayed. 

 

U mean to make a poll? Idk I never made one. And sure not on phone... :(  I will make it Jongwoon/Jonghoon I think.

I think our first reaction as fans was understandable because of 1/ cultural differences ( = how can someone change someone else's name like that? it's kinda shocking for international fans) and 2/ Yesung seemed to be disapproving. But now that we had cultural explanations from Koreans and that he publicly defended his mother's decision/said he'll use his new name, we should stop judging and do the same. But ofc it'll take some time to "digest" the news, as far as I'm concerned I still think of him as "Jongwoon", it's too new for my brain to correct it   (that's why I thought that changing the thread's name progressively would be a good idea   ). It's just a matter of habits, we'll get used to it soon I guess ^^

Ya, first reaction always was a shocking one...sooner or later, fans will literally accept his new name...

Just that one country have the own rules & regulation on name changing...

His mom did it also for Yesung's good...she love & care so much for his career & luck....her mother love toward Yesung are amazing..Am grateful toward her as I able to listen to Yesung's amazing voice  & seeing his awesome looks...

He did literally nothing! He only came forward cam but always stood behind the girl. He was calm and only smiled. Maybe tried to be funny with the smiling.. Wow how bad... And in the end he was celebrate his last stage and his fans, again in the background! 

 

Yesung worked hard, rlly rlly hard for his Album, for 4 years! He had to push it back for several times and its luck he was finally supposed to stay on this stage in general. So he was grateful forward fans. It was his last stage. Everyone rlly should shut up.
