Selena's is subtle while Miley's was very explicit, tasteless and purely noise-marketing and she knew exactly what she was doing. Subtle Nudity has been in Music Videos for a long time now and Selena / Miley weren't the first to do so.... but the reason why Miley's was so controversial was because of how she approached the whole thing. WonderJoyous 10,634 Posted June 26, 2015 Share Posted June 26, 2015 am i the only one who notices how different the version of the video is from the orignal one? the original one has that rap part and her voice was autotuned to hell, but in this you can barely hear the background music and listen to her voice, is just her voice, she isn't using pitch corrector nor autotune on this one, is more fresh than the original one tbh,altough the original one is better for all of the production it went through, but this is one of the rare cases where you can hear Selena's voice and that's a pro for me. Now you've pointed it out . I was already wondering why I thought this mv was slightly boring for me while I absolutely love the original version. At first I thought, it couldn't be just because there is no rap? But now you've pointed it out, not only is her voice different but indeed the instrumentals are completely stripped down which makes the biggest difference...
