It could have been only a wish that MNET staff had, not confirmed info.

 

The only surprising thing about this line up is the lack of Dahyun. Minyoung isn't liked by knetz and Sixteen fans in Korea so..

 

Twice is JYP’s first girl group since it debuted Miss A five years ago.

“SIXTEEN†pits all the 16 trainee girls of JYP against one another to secure a spot in the upcoming girl group Twice. Since premiering on May5, the members were mixed and matched into various teams to see which members best complimented the group.

Before its airtime, some of netizens claimed that long-time JYP trainees Jihyo, Nayeon, JungYeon, Minyoung had already been preselected to debut as members of Twice, and that the agency could be adding three or four new faces to the mix for a total of sixteen contenders. But in ranking order, the Korean fans have chosen Tzuyu, Nayeon, JungYeon, Mina, Somi, Chaeyoung, and Sana as top 7 members. 

The final match of SIXTEEN was already recorded dynamically, joined by a whopping 300 people who were eager to see the end of the survival show.

When the 300 audiences was leaving the venue after all the matches were finished, the 13 members came up on stage to hear final members selected by JYP.  The decision for the shortlist was made under a cloak of secrecy ã…¡ under the watchful only eyes of  JYP, their parents and production staffs.  

 

After that, at 6 AM on 24 June, one of the production staffs of SIXTEEN twitted one message via his(her) personal account. While there seems to be no obvious connection to SIXTEEN if you read the translated message in English, there’s a different story in Korean :

The hidden message in the staff Tweet if you take the first character that starts each line reads,나정지사미쯔채† or “나정지사미쯔채소† which means “Na(yeon), Jung(Yeon), Ji(hyo), Sa(na), Mi(na), Tzu(yu), Chae(young) and So(mi)â€.  As a staff’s Tweet is receiving a lot of attention, he(she) delete the message immediately. However, the Tweet was saved via a screenshot and is of course going viral on the internet.

The fate of the 7-8 contestants was finally sealed this day, and it will be broadcast through Mnet and Naver’s tvcast on July 7.

Still she was supposed to debut under 6mix, all 4 of those girls should of had a secure spot in the final lineup, The four of them all had decent vocals and were training to debut. And he's gone eliminated one of them? Seems really unfair.
