27 Best Albums We've Heard in 2015...So Far

Six months in, these are the most impressive, addictive, incredible full-lengths

BTS, 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1'

When they hit the K-pop scene in 2013, BTS was an underdog boy band touring a hardcore hip hop sound that at times was too aggressive and at other times felt too weak. But with the release of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1, the guys have created their most solid work to date and did so by finding an awesome balance. The album's intro opens with a dreamy production as member Suga gives an Eminem-like rap performance while lead single "I Need U" opens with lush synthesizers and soft coos before moving into it's explosive chorus. Is a Pt. 2 coming? Because we think the guys could break out even bigger with it. – Jeff Benjamin

What bout rumor that BigHit gonna debut 2 new boy groups this year. Is it true guys??????? I hope not yet since BTS is on the rise rn. Let BTS make few comeback & win few awards b4 BigHit debut new groups. They need to grow their fanbase in Korea & reaching to public.

How much did they pay??

Jeff Benjamin (the guy who wrote it) is a huge kpop fan.... he tweets about kpop all the time and writes for both Fuse and Billboard regularly; when BTS' album came out he was praising it non-stop on his personal twitter #nicetry

don't think that rumor is credible, because where it originated from also said that GLAM will make a comeback, and GLAM disbanded.

That said looking at the back-up dancers, some of them look like they could be trainees. So I can see BigHit debuting another group eventually but I don't think it will be this year.

I love it when BTS is recognized for their music. A surprisingly large portion of Bangtan fans these days seem to like the boys only for their personalities/looks, which is a bit sad to me.

so so true. i noticed.

I agree! So happy for them!!...but also that is very true! tbh fans who only focus on looks/personalities can be really annoying.

Tho Kpop in general can be like this lol. I try to see the positive side; at least with BTS their music is good, so the new fans by supporting BTS inevitable are supporting their music. The more popular BTS name is the more their music can be recognized. Also there are many new fans that were maybe initially only interested in their looks/personalities, but now they have come to appreciate BTS music and talent.

I do wish there were more Korean articles about the members' music/producing/achievements. This could be really beneficial to their success and help them gain public recognition. It could have also prevented past accusations. If knetz knew about BTS work ethics, international popularity, touring, past album sales, maybe knetz would have not been so shocked during 'I Need U' promotions. (partially this could be BigHit fault, being a small co. w/ first idol group, they do not know how to successfully mediaplay like other companies yet and don't have the connections)

I've noticed that most international articles is usually recognizing BTS music or popularity due to their music.

I think I count as a new fan even tho I've been following BTS since their debut, but I Need U sealed the deal for me.

What you said is true, and it is kinda scary because those fans who love them for their looks are the problematic ones. They fight for their biases even tho it brings BTS's reputation down.
