I think the strategy is Clear is trying to get her good public recognition, win or lose. If she does well, but doesn't win, I think she may be added to Playback.

Anyway, WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS? This song is SO good... No Hayoungie, but that's ok. They're all so perfect... Playback, you're definitely going places.

nope! It is unreleased, so I guess this could possibly be their next title or maybe an album track

yeah music wise, Playback stay really calm, and cool, and that's what I like about them. I do wish they get more promo though

honestly this just made Playback a huge contender with new rookie groups. Their company just acquired a huge fanbase and now if Coridel actually promotes them and even gives them collabs with Jessica, they can get super popular

I know they're under Coridel, and therefore their future is bright, but I need them to have a comeback soon, because all that mediaplay about them is falling off the Earth. It's too bad, because their debut song was pretty good, and they should have kept on delivering non-stop since debut, that's how rookies manage to get popular these days.

Anticipating their comebacks, whenever that will be!

I mean before Jessica's signing, Coridel wasn't that financially large so for a really small company group, Playback did their best.

All of Playback's promotions happened before their company (Clear) was acquired by Coridel. After the acquisition anything regarding Playback was put on hold since Tyler Kwon's (and by extension Coridel's) obvious priority was Jessica's debut. So now we'll just have to keep waiting for Jessica's promotions to finish before they do anything with Playback.

 

Not that it really matters, but if Clear hadn't been bought out I'm fairly sure Playback would have had a mini-album comeback already.

 

You are probably right.

 

In the end, I am still happy about Coridel buying Clear. It just gives them so many opportunities that makes it WORTH the wait.

 

Jessica's promotion is going to last just a little longer. We will get Playback soon and they will receive a lot of love!~

honestly makes me upset that she was eliminated from JYP. 

 

But it's ok. We have her in Playback and I can't be any happier!

Wouldn't she have been on Sixteen if she had still been in JYP? 

They lost a bright, star in the making with Woolim. She may not get as much attention being in Playback as she would've in JYP, but I feel like Playback is making the kind of music Woolim wants to be singing and being in a bigger label, that might not have been a possibility. I'm happy we have her where she is.

But yeah, her in Playback seems way more...genuine? And I do believe Playback have the potential to succeed now that Jessica is their labelmate.
