She was rapping the original lyrics. If you're really bothered by that you should also tell Nicki Minaj to not use the n-word in her songs in the first place.

 

Also english swear swords aren't usually censored in Korea.

M E S S. I'm black and unoffended but don't come with that bull. Black people are free to get upset at it if they want to as her saying that was problematic especially since she isn't ignorant to american culture - she's most likely not racist so dragging her is unnecessary but you shouldn't take race issues as some kind of joke. I'd link stuff explaining the differences to you but what she said isn't deserving of this mess. 

 

I take race issues seriously, I'm american and not white. But honestly it bothers me when people censor lyrics in covers because imo covers should still sing the song how the artist originally wrote it.

 

 

edit: I'll admit that my original post was a bit snarky and I apologize for that - and I don't actually think Nicki Minaj should censor herself. But I'm going to stand behind my point that if she's going to drop n-bombs in her songs don't be surprised when the same word appears in covers.

I don't know where they are, I think is a army festival, there is lot of girl groups performing there

 

It was Monday night on Tencent K-pop Live - it's a Chinese streaming kpop show. Apink was the main group there, and Playback and Hello Venus were the guest acts.

They are going to release solo's. I'm not sure what that means. But somewhere this month we'll have 4 songs. I'll try to see what it really means.

Hayoung will be promoting with Kim HyungJun (former ss501 member she appeared with on soundk) for his comeback. As of now they will at least be on show champion tonight and mcountdown tomorrow.

Playback (the full group not just Hayoung) will be on Arirang Simply K-pop next week

Yup. Also they are coming back in September. Since there hasn't been any kind of m/v or song/album teaser yet, I'm not sure if next week's simply k-pop is actually the official start of their promotion cycle, but a full comeback next month is happening for sure.

Eric Nam?

I didn't like the song the first time I heard it, but it's grown on me a bit since then.

 

I think this would have been a good song to release as a standalone Woolim x Eric Nam duet, but promoting it as a 4 member group seems strange.  Even the Playback only version with Eric's lines split between all the members is still basically Woolim + 3 backup singers.

Playback is selling a physical album for this comeback!  It's just a 3-track single though, so the 2 versions of ì—†ì„까 with and without Eric, plus an instrumental.  Should be available from wherever you buy kpop CDs on Wednesday.

They will be on Arirang Simply K-pop again this week, but other than that they won't be on any of this week's music shows aside from yesterday's The Show.  They are having a fansign on Sunday to make up for the lack of performances.

Hayoung is very popular among the international fans, but among the Korean fans I'm pretty sure Woolim's always been the most popular member, probably because of her TV show exposure before she was ever in Playback.

During the facebook Q&A Hayoung hinted that a real mini-album is coming at some point, but they're still technically promoting ì—†ì„까 right now. They'll be on show champion tomorrow.

All the members are good bias choices and they all make a real effort to engage with their fans in person.
