Kim Sae Ron to star in New Web Drama Alongside Male Idol group 

 

 

It has been revealed that child actress Kim Sae Ron will be starring in an upcoming web drama titled “Become Our Star†(working title) alongside a male idol group.

This web drama is a teen fantasy romance that tells the story of a male idol group that suddenly slips back in time just one day ahead of their debut stage.

Kim Sae Ron is set to take on the character of Ah Rin, who plays a pivotal role in the storyline, as she assists the members that have gone back in time in order for them to successfully make their debut.

The male leads that will be starring opposite the actress is a six-member male idol group that Fantagio (also home to Kim Sae Ron) has been preparing and training to debut for the past five years. This web drama will mark their official debut into the industry.

“Become Our Star†is said to be divided into 12 episodes at 10 minutes each. It is expected to air around the middle of August.

As always I hope the new group does well - but what happen to 5urprise? You only hear about 1-2 of the members. The rest are relatively unknown. Have they forsaken them to near obscurity besides the one very popular member?

They're an Acting group Y'know, they're Actors, ofc they won't get to shine all at once since an Acting group basically means that every one of 'em would work individually, so ofc they won't get popular in less than 2 years, KangJoon, well matter of Luck~ 

 

Anyways, TaeHwan is being promoted in China, His Chinese Drama will air soon there, yet he got some spotlight due to 'Pride & Prejudice' and apparently, he'll take over a Drama soon, TaeOh is being promoted in Vietnam (he even took some awards there), Myung is getting attention due to his role in 'Hwajung', YooIl, fantagio should get him a Solo Album bcs his talent is being wasted T.T

I guess they will focus on their acting careers first, they will be more like a group of Actors who sing, just like Actors who release Digital Songs and albums (Lee SeungGi, Lee JunGi, Jang Geun Suk, Lee MinHo, etc ..) 

 

Anyways, for the time being, they'll try to grow as Actors, at least so the Public can fully acknowledge 'em as an Acting group, and then we'll see~

Lee Seunggi debuted as singer
