  1. 1. Who do you want Hong Seol to end up with?

  2. 2. Is Yoo Jung a misunderstood hero or truly apathetic towards others?

    • He's just misunderstood!/ His actions are justified.
    • He clearly lacks empathy and is borderline sociopathic./#Pray4Seol
    • I just love him <333

I watched it with no subs  :hurr:  :hurr:

LOL you can watch w/ subs & download it here..

Park Hae-jin, "'Cheese In The Trap', not about one person"  (source)

photo693481.jpg

Park Hae-jin's post on the WM Company's official Instagram has fans talking about it.

WM Company posted something on Instagram saying, "A set is where everyone has to be noble. It's not a drama for just one person". It seems to be talking about the drama set but some fans speculate whether or not the post is talking about "Cheese in the Trap". 'One person' means that unlike the original, the drama characters are becoming vague.

Park Hae-jin stars in "Cheese in the Trap" as Yoo Jeong who is perfect. He has a perfect family, he is good looking and is smart. However, he is a mysterious character. The web-toon portrayed him as multiple layered character but not the drama.

What the post on Instagram means can't be known for sure. However, it seems related to the criticism that the production hasn't been too kind to the character of Yoo Jeong. Web-toon fans have complained that it's hard to understand Yoo Jeong. It also seems like the focus on the main character has shrunk even more after the drama developed into a three-way romance.

thank you!  :chu:  :chu:

well I read the webtoons too, and I found Yoo Jung is hard to read(his character) I don't even understand why he did that or what is actually behind his back, but Yoo Jung in drama is more understable. Because PHJ portrays Jung emotions so well and in the drama Jung looks more "human", his eyes could tell if he hurts or happy.

watched the newest episode it was boring, im over this repetitive plot of someone messes up with seol and then jung screws them over its like the 3rd time, so boring it was fun with seol clone, it was okay with the stalker but now its just pure boredom.

Inha was the best thing of the episode when she exposed jung like that get it queen

IM get pissed why writter keep letting inho lingering around her for ONE MONTH like wtf?

if i be HS ill just push him away harshly & Slap him HARD to bring his scene back..

just like what Inha used to slap OYG LOL

---------------------------

I was shocked to hear In Ho tell YJ to leave them alone. Since when has YJ ever gone to meet In Ha and In Ho. Aren't they the one who goes to see him. Isn't In Ho became friends with HS. In Ho is the one who moved closer to HS after she moved. The Baek and other YJ victims are always blaming YJ for their downfall but can never admit what they did wrong. YJ has never tried tohurt someone violently unless they themselves are violent.

Otherwise i'm guessing it is inho trying to protect his sister when he says "just leave us alone and we'll disappear for good this time." (or whatever he says.)  :imstupid:

And the most of my favourite part of the episode....even if I had to wait until the end....

GIF_zpshrxg7uz4.gif

Both PHJ and KGE as they play off each other. Gawd, you can believe that what happened in this scene is from the depths of their soul. Look at PHJ's expression, his eyes.. the relief that YJ feels when after the confession about being afraid of Seol leaving him after knowing the real him and Seol remaining by his side even knowing what happened with SC.

JUNGSEOL is alive!! :ahmagah:  :ahmagah:

I absolutely love love love their hugs. It's no holds barred and full bodied.

wtf @ the preview for next week???

im praying they dont turn inha into a moster she does not deserve this after offering the most fun and unexpected shit

she is the only wildcard everything else is the same sad inho, indecisive seol, psycho jung. corny scene of love with seolxjung, random sappy scene of seolxinho, include an scene of the friends and that is every episode for the last couple or episodes

One thing i really dislike bout In Ho was that he asked for a month with Seol for them to go on acting like before. I understand that he said that because he's going to leave after one month, and he wants to cherish whatever time he had left with Seol. But he also needs to understand that the knowledge that he likes her had changed their relationship forever. He's also making things difficult for her because she has a boyfriend whom she doesn't want to hurt.

At the same time, Seol doesn't want to hurt In Ho as well by acting like normal, and being kind to him. Trust me, it sucks to have your love unrequited, but it also sucks for the recipient when they know that they can never love you back, especially when you're good friends. They should never go back to acting like before, but they can at least be cordial and not avoid each other. I don't think he should continue doing things like buy her a random packet of kimchi. He should stop doing things that a normal friend doesn't do.

wtf @ the preview for next week???

which part do you mean? im somewhat curious bout what Inho says whether he means that bout Inha or HS.  :derp:

found this on citt baidubar... ep 15 still, taerang group party?

That ring...  :imstupid:  :imstupid:  :imstupid:

sunbae.jpg

All I know is that if Jung does go aboard and later comes back to Seol. HIs first lines better be "Seol-ah, do you want to have a meal with me?" or "Seol-ah, have you eaten?" a nice throw back to the beginning and showing of a new beginning.

This ending is really nice, and I don't really mind it if it ends like this.

I take back some of the words that I said on this thread earlier, because I said those words without watching ep 13 and 14 and merely through the live recaps and discussions here. Like many others, I raged against the drama, thinking that it was going down a disappointing end with the lack of Jungseol scenes and too much In Ho. But after watching 13 and 14, and I actually felt myself entertained throughout and didn't feel the need to fast forward through the episodes. I found myself caring for In Ho and his perpetually teary doe eyes.

I've actually found that part of Inho more compelling characterisation rather than the romance. I wanted him to pick himself back up again and now he's doing so. True, I really missed seeing Jung. But at the same time, whenever Jung appeared, he creates such a large impact to the episode, outshining In Ho completely. In ep 13, when he arrived at the cafe and laughed at Seol's face, you could tell how much their dynamic had changed and how much they had grown. When they were walking along the streets and fighting over absolutely nothing and Seol was openly sulking about how sensitive he can get and he wasn't even offended, you can totally tell how comfortable they've grown with each other. Even though those scenes were short, they actually made a really big impact on me.

And in ep 14, the return of dark Jung! Perhaps only for the last few minutes but they were worth it. And that hug right at the end, so on point. It felt so satisfying because they've previously fought over the same issue multiple times and now there's finally a different kind of resolution. Here you see the extent of their growth, especially Seol's.

So now that they've settled Seol's growth, it would be time for Jung's. However exciting and thrilling dark Jung may be, we all know that the way he handles things aren't exactly acceptable and right. I've been hoping that this drama will portray Jung's redemption and change through Seol. I think that she would be the very catalyst for his change, and that could be seen in ep 15's preview, when Seol mentioned that Jung is good to her, but she wishes that she'll treat others the same way as well. And that whatever he has done to others, would actually come back at him. However makjang the car crash may seem, in dramaland I think that it's a pretty effective trigger in teaching Jung a lesson. That if he pushes others too hard, they will push back as well.

However flawed CITT may turn out to be along the way, I hope that the purpose and endpoint remain the same. Then it would still remain as one of the best dramas I've ever watched!

I watched Episode 13 and Episode 14 and I am so disappointed. There are so many useless scenes of Inho and his piano. I get it. He's a sad puppy. But he did all of that to himself. It was his fault. He's suffering because of his own choices and mistakes. He shouldn't be blaming other people and letting them take responsibility for his own actions. Why does he act so entitled to everything. Why is he so selfish to ask Seol for a month? Telling her his feelings and expecting to act as before is the most selfish thing a person can ask for. He is so self centered I'm furious at his character.

There has been zero character development for Seol and Jung. While Inho still has the gangsters and his debt and his piano... this isn't the Inho show! Let Inho solve his problems WHILE giving us Seol growth and Jung's backstory. Viewers don't understand Jung because he keeps his thoughts to himself while everyone around him bad mouths him and keeps on making him look evil. We have 2 more episodes and Jung is still a mystery to the viewers, all we know about him is from what other people think of him and say about him. I WONDER WHY.

If I see another useless scene of Inho with his piano, taking the garbage out, walking around the street thinking of Seol, a close up shot of him every 5 seconds......

It started so good. Will they send Jung abroad? Will Seol get hit by a car? Will Inho disappear? When will the problems be resolved??? If they make a character leave for a long period of time, that is such lazy writing! Things don't just magically repair itself because you went abroad or got hit by a car. So disappointed.

IM SO SOOOO agreed with you bout Inho asking Seol for a month is like taking advantage from her, fck..

i really hate to see ppl like that

So overall I enjoyed episode 14 a lot (bless whomever invented the fast forward button LOL).  :har:  :har:

It’s really disturbing to see how the kdrama is romanticizing the unhealthy relationship between Seol and Jung. He is literally a hybrid mix of someone that could be diagnosed with aspergers or sociopathy.  There has been no character development on his character, while it was interesting in the beginning; it’s very repetitive to watch.

He has no self awareness, and really lives in this delusional bubble that all his victims deserved it and did it themselves. There is no empathy except when it comes do Seol, but he keeps manipulation the people around him even she after she confronted him about it and told him so speak up and acknowledge his feelings – but because he lacks perspective he thinks they somehow are doing it to themselves without him having any blame in it….

There is only two episodes’ left, I have no idea how they are going to redeem his character, they have been dragging it the whole show. Ugh

Episode 14 bts stills

12751050_934751013288520_1058802283_n.jp

I dont really get why why on earth... did In Ho trying to steal another man's girlfriend--speaks to his character as a person.  If he really cared about Seol the way he claims, then he wouldn't have burden her with his feelings knowing she really likes Jung and they are dating.  He wants more than she's willing to give. Although he told her that he would deal with his emotions, but he did stop her from answering call from Jung, LIKE WTF are you thinking dude?!!!!! :fyeah:

(This is where the writer is making Seol's character a little shady as well--she's lost some of her appeal for me. I'm not speaking for others, just me.)

It's clear she doesn't like In Ho romantically and after the lies his sister is telling on her, I'm not sure why she would start. Then we have In Ha, his sister trying to force a relationship with Jung.  I used to think that In Ha had a part in In Ho to hurting his hand.  Both brother and sister trying to force romance out of relationships what were just friendships. I actually think in a month he wants to win the money and run off with her or buy her by giving money to her parents.

Again, the writer can make In Ho and Seol the end game, but for ME and IN MY OPINION, they would have completely destroyed what was once a very good drama.

Slightly OT, new webtoon chapter from today

http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=662162&no=25&weekday=thu

I wonder how similar it is to the drama.

I'm so ready for this to end, I agree with snsdJM, all these creeps-who-bother-Seol storylines are so boring now.

I honestly hope In Ha gets a good ending, I fear for her life.

Does anyone know if Seol getting hit by a car is actually in the webtoon?

Because when I saw the preview I was shocked af LOL I THOUGHT THIS WAS SLICE OF LIFE WHY ARE PEOPLE GETTING STRUCK BY CARS

I read all the webtoon material was already shown in the drama, and from ep 14 on they have to make up new stuff.
