Out of curiosity, how new is new? 

 

I found Team B in late 2013 while rummaging through Youtube to find G-dragon related stuffs. To put it in a way, I come for GD and stay for iKON. I feel like I'm kinda new to kpop too. So we're kinda in the same boat. Kinda. Mebe. idk

It's his nickname for Bobby. In one of Mix&Match fan-meetings, a fan gave Bobby the kimbap stuffed-toy and he was like, "Hanbin, this is ALL YOUR FAULT. You called me kimbap on broadcasting tv! T^T *sniffles* My edgy, tough guy reputation is damaged."

 

I might have exaggerated the story a little bit. ;)

 

 

 

 

 

Hanbin is funny in his quiet way.  It's that type of humor that's hard to come by and I appreciate it a lot. In a loud world that can't stop talking (I myself am an extrovert), subtle humor is underplayed. From what I've learned from watching Korean variety shows, even the Korean society leans more towards slapstick and In-Your-Face kinda jokes. Hmm, I don't think any of the original Team B members are outrightly funny in an obnoxious kind of way. I consider saying that they are the reserved type , but that's digressing innit?

 

I deemed this as one of the reasons they didn't get an edge in voting during WIN. Nonetheless, I am so so so glad they stayed true to being themselves. Of course, I don't really know them, but it's really not that hard to tell. 

 

It's just my humble opinion.

wow thanks for your efforts... i get to know something new about them. tho i have watched mix and match but i haven't noticed this...i don't how  may be coz i watched all the episodes in just 2 days...

 

 

 

Two days? Oooh marathoning shows is always fun.    I recently re-watched potc trilogy in just one sitting.

 

 

 

n about the new thing..

I got into kpop near the end of 2013 because of jaejoong so yeah i watched dbsk videos n also read many fanfics about them...at that time i was only interested in dbsk...then in 2014 I somehow listened bigbang's haru haru n ohh my god i loved it...so from there i got interested in bigbang...n somewhat obsessed with GD...I also started listning to other groups music....n while listning to winner i got to know about IKOn as in team B n that happened in january 2015...i watched win n mix n match... i liked team b more than team A...tho i like winner's music (their songs empty n colour ring are amazing)

 

^^ I'm not quite familiar with Jaejoong. I have seen him in a movie once, it's called Postman in Heaven i think? I watch more Korean variety shows rather than kpop MVs tbh. Saw dbsk in running man, that's all I know of them. Hmmmm and their adorable Balloon MV! 

 

Winner is pretty cool. Their stuffs are what I usually listen to in the mornings - soft and mellow, great to start a day if you don't understand the depressing lyrics haha - and when I want to get pumped up while playing video games, I listen to stuffs like what iKON sounds.

 

In the end, all these fandoms rivalry is just ridiculous xD

well yeah these fandoms war is really ridiculous....I think in YG all of them are so close with each other....with YG it really feels like a family..Last week i was watching YG family concert backstage videos with ikon and winner also there...they were so cool with each other n also with other YG artists.

 

I need more iKON-Winner stage. They are so natural with each other. Obligatory video that I'll never get tired of:

Deep and interesting? In one of WIN unreleased videos, this lad said stuff about mitochondria whatchamacallithowdouspeldisshitey when he saw a plant. LOL   To common ppl like me, a plant is just a plant.
