Predict EXO's Future (don't worry, this isn't another shade thread)

There's pretty much no question that so long as EXO exists as a group, they will continue to have commercial success. But recent membership changes may have ramifications on the long-term sustainability of the group: Kris is gone, Luhan's gone, Tao's on "medical leave," Kai practically collapsed last night, and Lay's been crying like a little boy going away to sleepaway camp for the first time.

So let's take a moment to gaze into our crystal balls and predict the future of EXO.

Will there be another member #EXOdus in the near future? Kai halting promotions to recover from an exhausting schedule? Lay leaving to find his own success? Someone unexpected calling it quits? Will they add new members? Or will they continue as-is for the foreseeable future?

Beyond group make-up, will they continue to be one of the most successful boy groups in kpop? Or will their popularity decline as their numbers do? Will SM respond to obvious concerns about the craziness of their schedule and become more lenient with the remaining members? Or will they continue doing what SM does best?

YOUR THOUGHTS BELOW.

If you ask me, I think EXO will be a duo by this time next year, but I'm just joking :derp:

Idk for sure, but it seems to me that EXO has gotten an even stronger image in Korea since members left. They seem more uniform/ close.

Plus, EXO gives knets a bad excuse to be xenophobic, so they will continue to support them.

On top of all that, if they keep releasing amazing albums like xoxo and exodus, I can see them being around for as long as SuJu, if not longer.

Their future will be just the same as the other SM groups, like they'll have a strong fandom so they'll still sell good and have concerts like Suju and TVXQ and if they keep releasing good music they'll still have good digitals like SHINee does.

I don't know about Lay, and I don't see a korean member leaving, but anything can happen, but saying that they'll be a duo by next year is a stupid overreaction, to be honest.

I just hope that if their health isnt that good SM can give them member a break, like it was with Onew and Amber (I think?)

Other thing, why people say "Suju 2.0" like if it was a bad thing? I'm sure most kpop groups will love to be like them...

1) Jongin didn't collapse

2) Yixing cried because thai fans made a banner that ended up being specifically for him because he was the only one capable of reading it

3) With his studio, Yixing does not need to "leave" to find his own success like Kris and Luhan lmao.  That's the entire reason he worked with SM to create his studio.  So it wouldn't have to come to that.

Let see, they will receive multiple daesangs for the next few years. They will go on tours, oh and uhm they will probably have a japan debut so please anticipate^^

And kyungsoo's drama will air tonight right? And baek, xiumin, and suho will debut as actors. They are going to receive checks and money and their bank accounts will keep increasing

SM is gonna do what they always did. When SJ got really big these threads were probably happening too elsewhere and people would say that since they are big and all SM is gonna keep them as there priority. You need to understand that whatever goes up always comes down. EXO won't stay this popular forever and its natural. SM is gonna bring another boy group years down and this cycle will continue
