xXXXXXx 1,252 Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 aww MAN i know how it feels. we were flying standby from texas to california and spent ALL DAY in DFW in dallas tryna get a flight then ended having to stay the night. on top of that they went ahead and sent our luggage on the plane. meanwhile im in a cute little mini dress [cuz they told us you had to dress a certain way when getting first class tickets] layed out on a cot tryna sleep with this tiny thin blanket. we were there a total of 19 hours. on the way back, we were in the cal airport for 6 hours without getting a flight before we just paid for a rent a car a drove all the way back to texas -_- . Had to stay overnight in the Denver airport without our luggage in a cold airport since all the hotels in the area were supposedly booked. -_- Wasn't my first time being in an airport overnight, but it was the first time that I was unprepared for it. We go to the airport at like 9:30 and had to stay there till midnight (meaning U.S. time) to catch the next flight, not to mention being low on money from buying extra tickets. Me and my friends found a free coffee machine, and we tried all the different flavors, even mixed some lol and they had those escalators that just went horizontally and I kept tripping getting on them, every time lol. We checked out the airport stores, saw how pressT they were over Hello Kitty. Saw smoking booths, had never seen that before. They say you're supposed to dress a certain way, but most don't care.
