Why Fei and Jia are less popular in China than Jessica when both of them are chinese?

Jessica /http://weibo.com/syjessica/ - 973791 followers

Fei /http://weibo.com/missafei/ - 346816 followers

Jia /http://weibo.com/missajia/ - 442294 followers

I think Jessica opened her weibo account just recently but already nearing 1M followings.

Why the non-chinese kpop artist is more popular than two chinese kpop artists?

because most of the followers aren't actually chinese? there are many int fans (sones, smtowners) who joined weibo because of her and other smtown artists

I don't know how or why, but Jessica is like, super-famous among Kpop artists in china. I mean, as a member of SNSD, and beautiful and talented singer/dancer, its obvious she has lots of fans everywhere with Kpop fans,

But in China , she seems to have an extra-ordinary amount of fans for some reason.. I have seen many chinese fan-sites and forums dedicated for 'mao-mao' . ( in case you don't know, that is her nickname in China)

But in this case for the OP, its obvious becos SNSD is way more famous and popular than Miss A, China or other-wise. I don't think just becos Jia and Fei are Chinese means they will automatically have more fans

The SNSD members' individual popularity is basically the same everywhere  :unimpressed:

And it goes approximately like this with some slight local modifications:

Yoona

--------------------------------

Taeyeon/Jessica

--------------------------------

Tiffany/Yuri/Seohyun

--------------------------------

Sooyoung/Sunny/Hyoyeon

Yes, Jessica and Seohyun are slightly more popular in China than overall, but the members' popularity in China is still very much in line with how it is generally, as shown by their Baidu bars:

i think it's because SNSD first in debute . .

so, jessica first know by china people . .more than Jia and Fei . .

so, that mean SNSD more popular than Miss A . .

i think . .
