í—�! 8,234 Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 The beef I have with international fans covering Korean songs is that they're not familiar with the Korean language... and so when they DO cover a song... the pronunciation is often incorrect or too strong. The singing isn't bad, but with your vocal colors, I suggest you cover a more hard song and something less bubbly like ''Candy Jelly Love''. But back to the pronunciation, you could try to not emphasize on some of the pronunciation as much because like I said, it comes off as really strong. You could try and familiarize yourself with the Korean language and how things are pronounced. How the letters should roll out of your mouth and such... I am currently familiarizing myself with the korean language as I have been "studying" it for the equivalent of 1 year and I have a Korean friend at my school who can barely speak any other language outside of korean. How could I make my pronunciation better though? Because I don't really understand what you mean by my pronunciation coming off as really strong? tbh I just did this song because I thought I needed to try new things/genres and start doing K-pop (because up until now my channel is 90% K-pop ballads and IDK if it actually suits me or not...)
