While I can't say with 100% certainty that Dahee is her stage name, there is ample evidence for that to be the case over Gyeoul. While in an earlier video she does introduce herself as Gyeoul and her official profile pic says 겨울, in all subsequent videos/interviews she introduces herself as Dahee and ë‹¤í¬ is used on all official fancafe releases (in both Korean and Japanese - ダヒ) as well as unanimously used across music sites like mnet, melon, bugs, naver, etc. The title of the post for her profile pic even uses Dahee, so two instances of Gyeoul isn't much in comparison. Perhaps Gyeoul is her real name or an early stage name that got changed? Either way, given the use of Dahee in every current and official capacity, I think it's safe to say that that is her stage name.

 

On a side note, they will be appearing on Vixx NKpop on June 19th ^^

Yeah I know there are so many different names it's really too much!

At least it's just spellings though, Dahee/Gyeoul was the only one that was a full name change.

Yeah, unfortunately radio is pretty low on the "to be translated" list for Starlights, especially since it comes out every day lol but I'm hoping the official video they released will at least be translated soon ^^ And, I hope these girls get an 'official' trans. team going soon too!

 

Edit: I asked a Korean friend who likes Vixx and Awesome Baby if she might have time to give a few points on what they're talking about (she's pretty busy right now) so we'll see ^^

Yep, I haven't been around much haha but I was working on this and this hehe

 

The girls are super sweet too, and very talkative in the fancafe, so definitely join and say hi ^^ Sumin, Yechan, and Dahee are the most active; followed by Lina; and then the reculsive June haha xD

 

PS. Whomever made the poll for this thread needs to update Gyeoul to Dahee :P

BTW, when I say the girls are super sweet, I really mean it. Sumin said she wanted to meet after I complimented her singing, so I told her if she ever comes to Detroit, I'd by her dinner. She just replied, "I'll definitely be there!!!!"  

 

Seriously, join the cafe. Totally worth the 2 seconds it takes to join hahahaha

I really need to come on here more lol Anyways, the girls are going fine. Still no word on a comeback >> looking at you Tony... but they have been working on new stuff. They've gotten permission to post on IG again (hurrah!) and have appeared in a few of Tony's shows; one is linked above and the other, 맛집남, has had Dahee and Sumin as quests so far (it just started airing 7/1). This has helped a lot actually since now HOT and Sech Kies fans are being very supportive of the girls... but both Tony and Jaeduc are apparently working on comeback reunions with their own groups and I think that has probably pushed back a comeback for the girls since they are a small company :/ Also, it's been said that they are more like Melody Day, meaning more focused on performance rather than being "regular idols", and so they probably won't promote nearly as much. That's all just my thoughts on things though, I could be wrong.

 

Anyways, yes, they had 'Make My Future' before debuting. There are still some more episodes to upload too, I've just been busy and haven't gotten back to it ^^;; I've updated their schedule as far as I am aware of on the calendar, but I usually only find out about things the day of or after thanks to other fans cause it's not like there is much press and my Korean still sucks xP I also always update their SNS stuff on USAwe5omeBaby on twitter; which I just finished updating actually.

 

...OK, I think that covers everything xD It's late and I'm sleepy, so if I missed anything just ask ^^

thanks for this...sometimes I lose hope when I see it taking so long because I know agencies have a way to just give up on a group...but it's good to know the girls are still going. I do hope I get new music from them soon.

 

Yeah, I know how you feel! It's even tougher for me because, since I run their only currently active fanbase, everyone keeps asking me "when is their comeback?!?!" and all I can say is "I don't know!!ㅜㅜ" Following an 'unknown' group is so hard sometimes, and there are soooooo many groups out there just like them ugh... but we keep going cause we love them ^^
