Goo 54 Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Finally made it over here! Hello everyone, I'm Goo from Hallyu8. I also used to lurk a bit in 6theory. Some people here are somewhat familiar with me, but I'm without a doubt totally unknown to most since I only had some 200+ posts sparsely scattered over many months back in H8. I still probably won't be very active for a while as most of my days are occupied by (mandatory) military service. I've been into K-pop since 2009 and J-pop since around 2006. In K-pop, my first and foremost favorite is SNSD. My other favorites are Big Bang, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, Sunny Hill and BoA. I also do like a number of other K-pop groups and soloists or at least some of their releases. I also like other Korean music, mainly in the hip-hop and indie realms. In J-pop, my ultimate favorite is Hikaru Utada. Other artists who I've listened to a lot at some point and sometimes still do are Ayumi Hamasaki, Ringo Shiina and Nami Tamaki. I'm not into idol groups really but Perfume is great. Other than J-pop there's much more Japanese music I like. I also listen to a great deal of music of different genres from all around the world, and I like talking about a bunch of things other than music too. It's good to see most of the active users from H8 found their way here. Hope this forum can live up to it or be even better and last longer.
