[TV Daily] Dal Shabet Subin, “I’m envious of BTOB IlHoon’s skillsâ€

Group Dal Shabet member Subin has expressed her thankful heart to BTOB IlHoon.

 

During a showcase for their newly released album ‘B.B.B’, Subin mentioned high school friend, BTOB’s IlHoon who had helped out in her first ever solo song, ‘Just Pass’. Jung IlHoon personally wrote as well as featured in the said song, further enhancing the song quality.

 

Regarding this, Subin spoke, “I actually wrote the rap lyrics before making a request to IlHoon†and, “I’ve shown this song to my friends and members, and asked for their opinions. But everyone said that the rap part won’t do it,†she revealed.

 

She continued, “I tried asking friends around. But the fact is, I actually knew about IlHoon’s rap capabilities even before this. I made a request to IlHoon and he did well for my song. I was touched. I didn’t know that things will turn out this way, but thanks to IlHoon, the song has become better. When the members were undergoing an interview, they said that they liked IlHoon’s part the most. For some reasons, I’m jealous of IlHoon tooâ€, honestly saying her thoughts.

 

[OSEN] ‘Dream Team 2′ BTOB MinHyuk crowned ‘Iron Man King’ after 12 hours of recordings

BTOB MinHyuk’s winning streak of 5 categories in Dream Team has gained him the ‘Iron Man King’ title among idols.

 

On the 19th January episode of KBS 2TV ‘Dream Team Season 2′,  idols compete with each other to be the Iron Man King of idols. In this episode, Lee MinHyuk came in first in 5 different categories out of a total of 7 categories, which had him crowned the overall winner for the episode. It was a title gained after 12 hours of recordings over the night, from 7PM to next morning 7AM.

 

On this day, he flaunted his skills of a different level and pushed 100% member Sanghun to second place after a fiery battle even till the very last moment. Despite Sanghun’s strong tenacity to win, MinHyuk was the final victor in the end.

 

Wearing his gold medal on his neck, winner MinHyuk delivered his winning speech in happiness during an interview, “Being able to win first in 5 categories, more than majority contestants, especially the last competition, I’m happy. Sanghun-ah, you have played really well as my rival today. You’ve worked hard. Even so, I’ve won today,†as he couldn’t hide his excitement.

 

Sanghun made a deathly mistake when he did not heard the ‘start’ signal in one of the competitions, which had pulled down his ranking from being number one. He expressed, “Even from my point of view, I would really want to do well like MinHyuk-hyung. He was amazing. Although I had the greed to win, in the future, I will work hard so as to not repeat the same mistake againâ€.

Even in the new year, one cannot survive the growing number of idols in the KPOP market. The challenge faced by BTOB’s Lee MinHyuk who understood the weight of the world early was so, and still is, even today.

 

How many idol groups do you think are promoting in today’s Korea music industry? If you turn on your TV, you’ll see idols and start thinking that the world is flooded with idols. But, what shown on the outside are just a tip of the iceberg. The KPOP market is a game with intensifying competition. In order to survive, idols have to practice to their limits at places not often seen by the public. And that means, idols have to burn their youth to do so. Should I do this or not – That’s how the KPOP market works. Behind those glamorous stage, it is a bloody competition. Inevitably, they have to bear with the future of uncertainties. Their diligence, is rather touching.

 

While 2PM, BEAST, Infinite and many more groups reach their peak, BTOB stood on stage with much anticipation. Lee Minhyuk thought that they would easily get to the top during his trainee days. Yet, two years after their debut, BTOB are still the next generation idols. Although there are many rookie groups who have yet to show much presence as compared to BTOB, Lee MinHyuk couldn’t hide his insecurity. “I (trained) harsher whenever I think of being successful. I’ve become even more realistic compared when we first debut, and my desire to be successful intensifies as well.†Being 25 in the new year, this Horse year born young man will be taking vigorous steps to spur towards success.

 

My body seems to have gotten better

It was one hellish week. Although I often work out, lately the weather has turned cold rapidly and I’ve become slightly relaxed. Although I don’t usually do personal training, but because of shoots, I would need extreme measures. This is a promise I had with fans, as well as ‘Men’s Health’.

 

How did you pull through this whole week?

Early morning when I wake up, I would exercise on an empty stomach.I would do about one hour of cardiovascular exercise and then muscles training alone for about 30 minutes. After returning to the dorm, I have grilled- chicken breast, steamed sweet potato, egg whites and soy milk. In the afternoons, I would work out on all body parts, this is to raise definition of my body. I would spend the day doing a whole body workout.
