everypart 11,409 Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 This is an interview from Chengdu Business Daily with some tidbits and opinions from the fashion circle included in it.The interview mostly deals with fashion (he can talk about fashion ALL day I swear to god) so if you wanna read what the respectable fashion circle has to say about him, skip to "Kris Wu's Status and Behavior". 5/15/2014 → Kris Wu files to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment, returning back to China to develop his career 12/1/2014 → Kris Wu became the first star born in the 90′s to get a wax figure made of him in Shanghai Madam Taussaud’s Wax Museum 12/6/2014 → Kris Wu was honored with appearing on the cover of Esquire Magazine’s December issue “Man at his Best Special†12/18/2014 → Kris Wu received Givenchy’s invitation as a guest to attend Givenchy’s Chengdu Yuanyang Taigu flagship store opening event. 5/5/2015 → Kris Wu received an invitation to head to New York as the only Chinese male celebrity born in the 90′s to attend Met Gala 5/18/2015 → Adidas officially announced Kris Wu as ZX Flux’s Ambassador 6/1/2015 → Vogue announced Kris Wu as the first male celebrity, in the 10 years since Vogue China’s first publication, to grace the cover……. These are the footprints Kris Wu have left in the fashion world in the one year after returning to China. Despite it only being a short period of one year, he, who was born in 1990, partnered up with American model and trendy idol, Kendall Jenner, completing the shoot for Vogue China’s July cover, becoming the first Chinese male celebrity to grace the cover in 10 years since Vogue China’s first publication. This means, Kris Wu’s, who stands at 187cm, fashion status have received the approval from this global and powerful fashion magazine. Rubbing shoulders with Kendall Jenner and becoming the benchmark of the current generation’s trend is not only incredible, it’s miraculous. However, Kris Wu has really achieved it. He has already transformed from being the nation’s little fresh meat to becoming the current hottest fashion idol born in the 90′s. On June 6th, Kris Wu, who cherishes his fans, wrote on Weibo: “I decided to stop posting for 2 days, after the exam the ban will be lifted, love is restraint. What should be reminded of, everyone else has already reminded you. Jia you jia you jia you! When you have all passed it won’t be too late for me to come back.†After the entrance exams were finished, Kris Wu returned. The first thing he did was happily accept Chengdu Business Daily’s exclusive interview, answering 12 questions at once - sharing with everyone his own fashion philosophy, favorite fashion styles, and even what he hopes for in his future other half. Lastly, Kris Wu also gifted Chengdu fans with an interview “extra.†This is the first media interview that 90′s kid fashion idol Kris Wu accepted after the entrance exams, revealing his own fashion philosophies. Does this represent a certain lifestyle and fashion attitude of yours? K: My attitude toward life is “be casual,†so my Weibo username was also chosen a bit casually. (laugh) CBD: You’re a hot ‘little fresh meat’ in the entertainment industry as well as a fashion idol. We often see your different fashion styles in street style shoots and shows. Being considered as a fashion leader, could you reveal a bit about your fashion philosophy? K: Fashion trends change a lot at a glance so I hope I can find what is suitable for myself! Understand the season’s trends, elements, details, and choose a brand with a style that matches yourself. Of course, my most beloved is still hip hop and rocker styles, this is something that won’t change. CBD: Can you share a bit about your personal closet? What colors and styles of clothing do you have? What are your favorites? How long does it usually take before you buy new clothes? When was the most recent time you personally purchased clothing? K: Sometimes fashion and trends require risk taking, so I have lots of styles and colors in my closet. However, I still like black and white colors the most. I like everything in my closet. Because recently I’ve been busy with movie filming, the most recent time I personally went to buy clothes was when I went to participate in the Met Gala in America; I don’t have a schedule of when I purchase clothes, depends on my mood and, even more so, my schedule. (laugh) CBD: You’re so good at wearing outfits, how much time do you spend per day picking out your outfits? Do you have indecisive disease?K: How would scorpios have indecisive disease? We’re rather opinionated, haha. If I’m attending a public event, I’ll carefully choose an outfit that is suitable for the event. As for usual wear, I’ll just pick whatever, it’s good if it’s casual. CBD: I remember you once said you like bracelets, earrings, and similar jewelry, now you put more importance in matching your shoes, so exactly how many pairs of shoes do you have? Do you have any favorite brand or style you’d recommend? K: The amount of shoes is a mystery. You’ve reminded me, I’ll count when I get home (laugh). As long as it suits myself, it’ll be my favorite. Recently, the dress shoes I wear when I attend events are mostly Givenchy, as for sneakers I like wearing Adidas the most. As for the styles, my preference would adjust according to the latest trends. CBD: Do you usually decide on your outfit and styling or is there another expert giving you pointers? Regarding styling and status, who is your idol? K: I choose for myself, but I will also listen to the suggestions of a professional stylist. Good status is something worth learning from, but I wouldn’t worship a person just because they dress well. CBD: Many artists are very busy with work and don’t have time to worry about their health, so their skin looks exhausted, but your skin is really good, do you have any usual skincare and health secrets? K: Can I say that this is actually natural? Haha. Health secret is to eat mother’s healthy meals. If there’s time, play some basketball and exercise a lot. He doesn't let anyone push him around, manipulate or exploit him in his combined solitary grandeur and defiant fixity; He's led by his own free will. The thoughtless, seeing only the apparent effects of things and not the things themselves, talk of luck, of chance, of coincidence. They do not understand the process but only perceive the result and call it "good luck". Kris aspires and perspires in secret.
