Royal Pirates' James revealed to have suffered severe wrist injury + comeback delayed

There's some bad news as Royal Pirates' member James has experienced a severe wrist injury and is currently in rehabilitation. This also means that Royal Pirates' comeback has been delayed.

 

Their company 'Apple of the Eye' made the announcement today on Royal Pirates' official Facebook page. The company wrote,

 

Apple of the Eye regrets to announce unfortunate news to Royal Pirates’ fans today.

 

James Lee had an unexpected tragic accident last week while he was visiting a restaurant to meet with a friend. As James was walking into the restaurant, the door on main entrance crashed down on him and left severe damage on his left wrist.

 

James received emergency surgery and is currently hospitalized for cure treatment and rehabilitation. He is fully focusing on recovering from the injury.

 

Until recently, RP and AOE had been putting all efforts in recording and planning for the upcoming come back with the new album. Many confirmed concerts and events had to be cancelled and album progress is being postponed.

 

James’ recovery has been and is our first priority and AOE will continue to be focused on his medical treatment as well as supporting Moon and Soo Yoon during this difficult time.

 

Nonetheless, both RP and AOE staff are now back on track and pushing forth to make this time a milestone of RP’s history and trying to make RP’s come back as soon as possible.

 

AOE is fully aware that all RP’s fans have been waiting for RP’s new album with patience and were expecting RP’s active come back through various appearances on media, press and stages.

We sincerely apologize to let you down and worry you. More so, we apologize and ask for your understanding for not being able to share further detailed of the accident and James injury due to internal circumstances. AOE will do our best to update James’ healing process and information regarding next album plans continuously.

 

We took courage in bringing this matter up to our fans because your encouragement and support will be the greatest strength and comfort to James and all Royal Pirates.

This means that although the group was ready to go full swing into their comeback, with confirmed concerts and events, all of that will be postponed indefinitely.

 

We hope James will make a painless and speedy recovery! We're sure fans will be understanding of the delay, so we just hope James focuses on getting better!
