Even if you are madly in love with someone , waking up every single day next to the same person just takes out the fun out of life . I am not saying I want to whore myself around but still I really don't see myself growing old next to the same person and telling our grandchildren about our epic everlasting love story . After that, live in a nice, comfortable house with my wife and kids. i think it's part of growing up and living life to the fullest (IMO). I kind of have trust issues though so I have to really trust that person. I don't really want to have multiple boyfriends, I'm past that stage and I've done that. As long as I have one person, I don't need any more. Plus I want to have someone to share that kind of love with/ aside from my family of course. Funny enough last night I couldn't get to sleep for 2 hours because I couldn't stop thinking about marriage and worrying about my future and crap. I don't know I feel like I've been brought up in an environment that just says one day you will get married and that it's just another thing you have to do in life. Like it's just assumed that everyone get's married and has children, but then I got into high school and started thinking "maybe I don't want to." Now I'm just worried about finding anyone I would want to get married to or would want to marry me. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I find it sort of intriguing how some maintain their relationship for a long period. But if you love a person too much i can't say anything than that you'll do anything to have them by your side. The whole idea of growing old together for me, personally, lives off of a love that is so great that you can't really distance yourself from it. But for some this could happen to be scary. Personal space is needed in every relationship but that doesn't mean that you can't have one when you're married. Edit: committment isn't for everyone tho. I'm definitely a one-girl kind of girl, so if I find someone who's my best friend like that I certainly want to spend my life with only them.
