YG (rapper) shot 3 times in the recording studio

YG was shot at a recording studio in Los Angeles, TMZ reports. The incident happened on Friday morning around 1:45. TMZ says that YG was shot three times in the hip, and was driven to the hospital by one of his associates.

No arrest has been made. Police have not named a suspect.

Update 4:00 p.m. 6/12: Rap blogger Karen Civil tweeted that YG's status is stable
