I personally prefer both kirito and asuna over eren & mikasa.. but anime wise i prefer attack on titan

Oh please... Kirito and Asuna have plenty more development as MC's in the Light Novel than Mikasa and Eren in the manga combined..... it's in the anime that their developments over rushed.. just like how the overall series and arcs were.. lol so many things were skipped....

 

 

Also anime wise... hands down.. AOT >>>> SAO.. (since SAO becomes a bit lame after the first arc....but underworld arc has my hopes for season 3 now..)

I'm not sure what you mean. >.< I guess you were trying to make a point that "disproved" my opinion that Kirito and a few others in the show are bland by saying that they had more development moments in the light novel? :/ But it's pretty clear, if not bc of the pictures you used, that you were talking about the anime. If you weren't and insist that they're all the same regardless of depiction, then you wouldn't have just made a distinction between the two as if it was relevant to the topic, you know? That is to say that if you were just talking about the characters in general whole (which isn't possible because according to you there is clearly a relevant enough difference between the development of the two).

 

So then were you talking about the manga/light novel iterations exclusively in the first two questions? :S Even if you were though, having more instances for development for one reason or another doesn't by any means or any case define or translate directly to a character being better (yes, in any category as it all just depends on the analysis of the characters in and of themselves) than the other..especially if you're asking for opinions dontcha think? :/

when you say Levi and then segue into Ymir and Krista, you're not saying that you would prefer them as MCs would you?

 

That aside, I don't see how that drive could be annoying (to me at the least). It's perfectly understandable especially in the world that they live in, it doesn't cause her to have any specific character trait spikes that are bad like some would say that Eren's too whiny?

 

(I still don't see it considering that all he ever does is encourage, inspire, voice the natural passioned hotblooded, understandable opinion, set people on track when their selfish desires begin to draw them away from the goal of destroying the titans, and vow....to..well..destroy the titans. He's killed more than any character in the entire series and he's humanity's best hope. At the least, if the basement's the hope, he's sure as shit the guiding light or at least the battering ram lmao. Not to mention he always stands behind his words and his values. He's never been just empty talk. I wanna dignify the slightly popular opinion that he's whiny by just saying that I don't understand it, but I'm just going to cut it here and say thst it's bandwagon sheep mentality lol. Especially since that's been my hunch from the beginning. /endrant)

 

Not to mention that all her main drive's ever done is benefit everyone else lol you know? This aside, I think that's been blown.. ABIT out of proportion. She's shown countless times that she cares for the lives of people other than Eren and actively saves them. Whatevs. Then again, if your opinion is just that you're irked nonetheless by it then hey, that's your prerogative. I've just never really gotten that sort of sentiment haha. :P
