wash the area with antibacterial soap after you eat

its probably the food grease that were left there that makes them damn pop up

happened to me

do not do this, antibacterial soap has a high pH that is not good for face skin and many common surfactants (sodium lauryl/lareth sulfate) in this type of soap are actually acne triggers/irritants for many people.

just get a facial cleanser (cerave foaming is a good basic one for those in the US) and cleanse once or twice a day. also a moisturizer. if you have persistent acne, look into BHA (salicylic acid) and AHAs (lactic, glycolic, mandelic acid) and spot treatments such as tea tree oil and benzoyl peroxide. for any more detailed problems/questions and product recommendations, go to reddit.com/r/skincareaddiction or reddit.com/r/asianbeauty.

what is your routine?

twice a day i use cleanser w the clarisonic (biore pore unclogging scrub) > toner (paulas choice resist weightless advanced repairing toner) > bha liquid (paulas choice 2% bha liquid) > acne treatment (benzac 2.5% acne treatment gel) > moisturizer (aveeno daily moisturizing lotion)

simple but it works, i have pretty good skin because of it

you're lucky. some people have great skin due to genetics and can get away with less than ideal treatments. most people aren't. or you might be seeing some small improvement while overall harming your skin. But the reddit subs I listed give recommendations based on scientific research, so it's a good starting point for all skins.

It's super old lady, but Noxzema. Just rub a tiny bit into a problem spot at night (all the way, there should be no white goop on the skin) and in the morning the problem is gone.

Most skin care products make me brake out, but this oldie really does the trick. If my skin if just busted overall, I will rub it (full face) in like a primer under my makeup and my skin will be back to normal within two days.

It's also great spot treating other areas where you break out (back, shoulders, et al)

I don't have the best skin, despite what I've been told.. I used to get persistent break out in that area too, but not anymore.

My skin is sensitive, combination and acne/blemish-prone. The breakout stopped after I added tea tree oil toner to my skin care routine, which isn't much at all lol (gentle cleanser --> (added toner) --> moisturize --> sun protection during day)..

  • put away your bangs on your face (because there's some hair products that irritates the skin )

dont touch your pimples

wash your face before you sleep / wash your face after work/workout (ofc you need to rest atleast 10~20mins to do it) / wash your face after you travel using motorcycle without helmet

leave them alone.

Everyone gets pimples, just make sure you take care of your skin, especially T-zone. Do not use antibacterial soap, it's harmful for your skin even if you can't actually see it.

I don't like buying products since i'm paranoid about chemicals messing up my skin so I use an organic mask. Chickpeas flower + milk + 3-4 crushed almonds + a bit of lime juice (yes it's acidic but it neutralizes the alkaline properties of the chickpeas flower + is a great exfoliant). Leave it on for 20-30 minutes then take it off. It makes your skin soft, vibrant, and clean.

Try using a wet washcloth (make sure it's as hot as you can get it), put some soap on it and then wash, after that use cold water to close your pores. The steam from hot water opens the pores for use of cleaning and cold water closes them. I've done this before and it works pretty well^^
