From what I could understand from the video and her tweet, was that she'll be doing a calendar for 2014! She's really excited and looks foward to it. She also mentioned something about signing the calendars but idk if she'll sign all of them or just 3...cause I heard san (3 in Japanese)...but my Japanese is still not that good so...

I actually watched Yamada kun to 7nin Majo 2 weeks ago and thought the female lead was cute, didn't think more than that. 

Couple days ago, I downloaded Switch Girl because it was part of the recommended drama series on Dramafever and was delighted to see Mariya playing the main lead and Kirimiya Renn as the male lead (he was adorable in Soratobu Kouhoushitsu<3) - anyhow, Switch Girl I and II has completely turned into a Mariya fan    She is so frickin' pretty and hilarious! I love her acting especially her various facial expressions. 

 

I need a badge of her's pronto !

I also like her better in Switch Girl but Yamada-kun is not bad either. 

The role of Urara is supposed to be shy/reserved and since her most known role is Nika's it is a big contrast for fans.

 

I think there might be a season 2 for Yamada-kun

since the last scene was someone entering into the "witch room" opening the safe to get the witches' book.

I would like that since that means more Mariya 

 

As for the badge, we have to wait until the "awards change" finishes to request it cause Shay isn't taking requests now.

hello! new fan here   i just watched GTO a couple of months ago and Mariya is the one that has caught my attention, even though she is not the lead actress there.

i want to watch more of Mariya but i don't know any japanese dramas so if anyone has recommendations or suggestions i would gladly appreciate it.

I just recently started watching "Switch Girl" & now I'm obsessed with Mariya! Waiting for Switch II & Yamada-kun to Nananin no Majo to finish downloading. I love watching her dramas & her hair is just plain HAIR PORN! lol

 

I'm midway through "Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo" and I came to like this even more than "Switch Girl". I love the character she's playing & now I totally ship her with Yamamoto Yusuke!!!

Nishiuchi Mariya announces new single "7 WONDERS"

 

 

It will be released on January 28, 2014.The title track of Nishiuchi's second single is a medium-tempo tune with a strong digital beat. Regarding the song, she commented, "It is a song that's filled with feelings of love, so I am moved to tears by singing it." As the coupling track, the single will include a heavy rock tune called "Don't Let Me Down"

 

The single will be released in 3 different versions: CD+DVD Limited Edition, CD+DVD Regular Edition, and CD-Only Regular Edition. The DVDs will include the PV for "7 WONDERS" and its off-shot movie. Additionally, the Limited Edition will come with a photo book, and all types will enclose a guitar pick with an original design. 

 

Nishiuchi is scheduled to hold fan events on December 23 at umeda AKASO (Osaka) and on December 24 at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE (Tokyo). Tickets to the event in Tokyo are available for pre-reservation now.

An award ceremony for the annual music awards show " The 56th Japan Record Awards" was held at the New National Theatre, Tokyo on December 30, and Nishiuchi Mariya (21) received the "Best New Artist" award. At the moment Kakama Yukie, who served as the host, called her name, Nishiuchi joined her hands with a surprised look. She then expressed her joy saying, "I did it mom"and tears fell down her cheeks though she tried to hold them back. 

She also said, " I would like to send this song to my mother who has always supported me, my local folks who are always cheering for me, and my preservers." She then performed her debut song "LOVE EVOLUTION" while shedding tears.

 

Nishiuchi began modeling for magazines when she was a second year junior high school student and is currently a house model for the fashion magazine "SEVENTEEN." Her popularity is quite high among women in their teens and twenties. She made her debut as a singer with her first single "LOVE EVOLUTION" on August 20, and she is slated to release her second single "7 WONDERS" on January 28. The award ceremony of "The 56th Japan Record Awards" was broadcast live on TBS. © tokyohive
