Do you think EXID would have done as good/better if they came back with '아슬해' instead of 'Ah Yeah'?

The girls have said that it was between Ah Yeah and this song to be promoted, but ultimately Ah Yeah was chosen. It's a great song and it reminds me of Girl's Day's 'Something' a little. Do you think they would have smashed if they came back with this?

I am probably gonna get hate for this but I first want to point out that I do like EXID.

Anyways I feel like Ah yeah sounds just like UP&Down musically not lyrically. I wish they would have chosen a different song to show more of their talent because they do have amazing talent but to me Ah yeah doesn't show it.

that was the point though. They chose ah yeah so the fans can recognize them. I also think that ah yeah did a good job in displaying their talents. We had Hani and Le in the verses while there was Solji and Hyerin in the chorus. The only one that kind of got shafted in the song was junghwa

I think they needed to come back with "Ah Yeah" because it would've been a hit due to: a) they had the hype and b) it sounds like the previous hit "Up and Down," so the public would definitely like it.

Kinda like AoA when they came back with "Short Hair."

'Ah Seul Hae' is actually my favorite song of the album but realistically speaking, I don't think it would have done as well as 'Ah Yeah' on the charts. EXID are still in their beginning stages of their new found fame and I think they really needed to promote a song that served as a reminder of 'Up and Down' so people wouldn't forget them. I don't think new fans would have been able to associated EXID with 'Ah Seul Hae' quite yet. I do kinda wish they would have performed it during their comeback stage though instead of 'Pat Pat' (even though I really like that song too lol)

^^^ this

But I think for their next coneback in August they will experiment with a different sound since they're not just one hit wonders and have the public recognition. I won't be suprised if their comeback is going to be similar to this song or Every Night since it seems they're comfortable with this type of style.

This was my favorite song from the album! I really love it, but like others, I can see why Ah Yeah was the safer choice. I also feel like the mood of Ah Yeah was necessary for EXID's comeback. Ah Yeah has a more triumphant and cool feeling, while this song is a bit depressing in the lyrics.

i heard someone calling me? ;;)

i think they're wise to choose ah yeah as the title since it's very reminiscent of up&down = instant recognition. it would be riskier to take their sound into a too different direction since exid cannot afford that yet. rmb they a gg from a nugu company who has to really establish a strong footing in the saturated gg market so ia, ah yeah fits the job description.

AND it's really singalong material, fun, and a total jam.

i'm personally ok if they want to continue with up&down n ah yeah type of sound next comeback but i trust in LE and shinsagod to deliver so i'm not worried at all about music. idk how 2 say this but i don't mind if they make u&d/aye exid's ~signature~ sound like how retro edm is t-ara's thing.

I'm actually glad they went the T-ara route with their recent singles; it makes it really easy for newcomers to really understand their style. Hopefully, their next single will have some kind of "아슬해" sound to it. It's really good, and I kinda hate that they never promoted it despite it's chance of have been the lead single. But, I think "Ah Yeah" was a better choice since it gave every member more equal parts. It was a lot of LE and Hani, but Hyerin and Solji did their piggyback thing, and Junghwa even got more than one section of the song…

With Out U & PatPAt >>>>>>>

ME love these 2 songs so much!!!

Actually I love the whole mini album!

Even the instrumental AhYeah!!

I think they did the right pick!

Ah Yeah is a good party song and people really enjoy it when they performed Up & Down and Ah Yeah in those college events (and dream con).

The mood usually goes down a bit when they sing Every Night..cause .....it's a sad ballad....
