A Boy Like Troy 3,333
That's quite an impressive list OP! A slight correction if I may. "B-Boying" and "Break Dance" refer to the same thing. The difference is that "B-Boying" is the correct term giving by the people rooted in the dance and Hip-Hop culture. The term "Break Dance" was a name giving by the media (and many enthusiasts consider it to be the derogatory form to describe the dance). A bit of info: The "B" in "B-Boying" stands for "break". B-Boys used to favor dancing during the break (instrumental) parts of a song, hence the name "Break-Boy" (shortened to B-Boy). "Breaking" was also another term used in place of "B-Boying". In the chance of confusion, both terms can be used ("B-Boying/Breaking"). Thanks for the info, updating now!
Qri 4,063
lol are you saying Sehun is a lazy dancer? XD Xiumin's a ball of energy and Sehun... isn't XP. But he still has that chillax groove. That hiphop feel and fluidity (lol idk what im saying im no expert). Which honestly i don't think xiumin can do. I also said xiumin can't do intricate dance moves, so in opposite sehun can. Especially with his feet and hands. Technically Sehun is a better dancer but I think Xiu is more of a performer. Xiumin perfects his movements in front of the mirror, Sehun goes by feel. So I really meant opposite XD. Sehun is a lazy dancer lol, he's still pretty darn good though. And that "hiphop feel and fluidity" to Sehun's dancing is his musicality. Xiumin and Sehun aren't actually that far apart in terms of precision and accuracy as a dancer (in fact Xiumin is possibly better), however what sets them apart is that Sehun has brilliant musicality (or "feel" as you've described) which even surpasses Lay and Kai at times. That's why I previously stated that Xiumin does need to improve his musicality, because he dancing does not particularly stand out, unlike Sehun's. I am wondering what sets Lay and Kai apart?Isn't Kai slightly better than Lay? I remember you told me on tc that Kai is the best dancer in SM as of now; does that mean Lay is 2nd best of Sm? I remember you told me on tc that Kai is the best dancer in SM as of now; does that mean Lay is 2nd best of Sm? No there are quite a few dancers better than Lay, such as Taemin, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Donghae and Yunho. Lay lacks the musicality as well as the precision and accuracy that Kai exhibits. Lay is also occasionally inconsistent and will go somewhat stiff on his movements and he has that very bad habit of looking at the floor whilst dancing which suggests a lack of confidence. Kai VS Taemin would be a much more closer comparison since Taemin is the 2nd best in SM after Kai and it truly shows.

Qri 4,063
How good is the dance line from SNSD? Really good overall. I mean Hyoyeon is significantly better than the other members, since she's one of the best female dancers in K-pop, but the others are great dancers in their own right. If you want a ranking, it goes like this: Hyoyeon >>> Yuri > Yoona > Sooyoung >> Taeyeon > Sunny/Seohyun >>> Tiffany/Jessica
GPA 2,145
Can you guys rank the members of Team B/iKon? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yyIkD0m8F0 Something like B.I / Junhoe > Jinhwan >= Donghyuk / Bobby > Yunhyung > the 3 newbies (need more practice). B.I and Junhoe are very powerful + great accuracy of movements. Jinhwan, Donghyuk and Bobby are on the same level, I would say Jinhwan is more consistent than the two others. Bobby is energetic but lacks of technique imo. Yunhyung is really good as well. The whole team is amazing btw ! How good is the dance line from SNSD? Hyoyeon (obviously) > Yoona > Yuri > Sooyoung I think. (Personal ranking : Hyo > Yuri > Sooyoung > Yoona). Yoona is a really greaaaat technician, Yuri has an amazing body control/language, Sooyoung is the "worst" (still a strong dancer ofc) when it comes to dance but her stage presence makes her more interesting than Yoona imo. It's interesting you place Yoona above Yuri although I would strongly disagree; Yuri has much more control over body, and has shown to be a lot more comfortable in general. Yuri is also able to use and play with the dynamics of her movements in order to suit her style, which Yoona appears to have very little knowledge of or she is too shy to try (the latter seems more feasible to me, since Yoona also showcases a few bad habits that show she isn't quite comfortable with her skills.) So overall, I'd Yoona has an issue with her confidence, which really limits what she can showcase as dancer, since I know she capable of improving her musicality, but she seems hesitant to do so despite being a really strong technical dancer. Yuri is clearly the more capable dancer, because she has managed to show a better understanding of dance by using the control of her body to her advantage. Yeah maybe you're right, I'm not an EXPERT anyway. ^^ From what I have seen, Yoona's moves seem more accurate than Yuri's. She's a really good "choreography executor" (technically wise). I have to agree when you say Yuri is better at everything else, especially great versatility and high confidence. Confidence is really important to me, that's why I think Sooyoung is way more interesting than Yoona.

OHuzr 1,383
Um are you trapped in 2007? Yeah, Jessica is technically on point. When people comment on Jessica's dance they look at her style, but not on how well she executes the movements. She's subtle but precise. She's also a versatile dancer, able to adapt to many genres. Qri 4,063
Yeah, Jessica is technically on point. When people comment Jessica's dance they look at her style, but not on how we she executes the movements. She's subtle but precise. She's also versatile dancer, able to adapt to many genres. Jessica hasn't showcased a decent performance in a long time and her dance prowess has depreciately greatly as a consequence for her laziness. She is inconsistent on the most basic of movements, her limb movements are weak and are far from precise, she's becoming increasingly more stiff and she hasn't danced a different genre in a long while. The only real redeeming quality to Jessica's dancing is her musicality which is somewhat decent, although it is definitely not as great as before. But overall, she is most definitely not technically on point. Edited September 26, 2014 by The Great Dane
